I Donated Too sigmafour Posted May 30, 2014 Author I Donated Too Share Posted May 30, 2014 Stopped by there today as I have some 5 spoke LGT rims that aren't true. Still plenty of MB's and BMW's in the lot, presumably from Herb Chambers and BMW of Peabody. Waited in the office for five minutes. No one came out, so I left. Thank the heavens you did... You would not have had a good time down that roller coaster.
pfoyle
So can anyone recommend a GOOD shop to repair a cracked wheel? One of my Enkei EKM3s has a crack in it that is causing a slow leak and I want to get it fixed. Any recommendations along North Shore (Newburyport) or near Medford/Boston? Willing to travel a bit for a quality shop, but the closer the better! Thanks in advance!
Dujo
BigTDogg had his refinished and they look great and I think he's pretty happy. Don't know what shop or to what extent they do beyond refinishing, but hit him up.
solidxsnake
I had a great experience at RimPro in Tewksbury. I'd check them out. I got my original spec.B wheels straightened (not refinished) there.
I Donated Too sigmafour Posted November 20, 2015 Author I Donated Too Share Posted November 20, 2015 One of my Enkei EKM3s has a crack in it... You fat b#%#%#d You know what's done that? I'll tell you... It's all that extra weight and bulk is what has caused that. I just buckled my wheel from all the incredible 4th gen power but you've been piling it on and it's not even Thanksgiving yet.
