Penguin
Whatever helps you sleep at night. I do find it humorous that Toyota builds a truck that's faster 0-60 (and likely 1/4 mile) than their coolest sports car. The Tundra isn't just a "little" faster either. It sprints to 60 in 6 flat. That's almost a second faster! Mine is pretty entertaining in 4X4 with a brake torqued launch. Hmmm....... I wonder if I could retrofit a Land Cruiser Torsen center diff? That would be full time AWD with a low range, and then I could slap the TRD blower on there. AWD 550hp pickem-up truck boat truck.
The B4
no matter what you drive, there will always be someone faster than you. If your commute is enjoyable, who cares about a TRD truck. My penis isn't small enough to worry about everyone else's 0-60. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

dmanaenk
This thread is seriously lacking 0-60 and quarter mile discussion of NA/NB/NC Miata. A truck or a minivan of could beat those, yet people (stupid probably) bought those slugs and appear to have been enjoying them immensely.
charlie_sheen
confirmed turbocharged version http://wot.motortrend.com/subaru-confirms-turbocharged-version-of-brz-engine-143015.html
whitetiger
^means nothing. unless they say "FA20 turbo will be an option for the USDM BRZ" then, based on subaru's past behavior, i dont expect anything.

BAC5.2
Confirmed turbocharged engine, not that the BRZ will get it. Hopefully it does. I might be interested then. BAC5.2
It'll also be funny to see all the "it's not slow!" and "handling >> power" fanboys tuck tail and line up for the turbo version. BAC5.2
Will it have VTEC? It already has that stupid exhaust routing through the cabin like the Mustang, so maybe.
