meepers
soooo much photoshop! hehe.. looks great. I would love to see the looks on the service writers face at your local dealership when you go in for an oil change. (not that I think your the kind of person that would trust the dealer to do your oil) Hell I would do it just to mess with them on a saturday morning. you running into any clearance issues with the block or headers? frank_ster
yea buckaru ! i like that !!! as for the flywheel i made an adapter plate but its big and heavy. so i jsut decided to weld 3 nuts on to the torque converter. clearence .. just the hood the top of the intake is just ever so touching the top of the intake. i think i can move the engine tranny back and up an inch to get it to tip down. Now that's thinking out of the boxer! fyi all 05 + legacy's have built in code reader

Its time to get things thing finished! pictures .. well i pressed in some m10 nuts in to the adapter plate for the bell housing screws to screw into. and counter sunk some screws to clear the tranny to bolt the plate to the engine. Try putting washers or spacers between the transmission mount and it's crossmember. That should tilt it up about half an inch...Orr put washers on the hood hinge bolts like the Honda guys do to tilt it up a little probably better to do that than modify any mounting points if you don't have to

BAC5.2
Don't blame me! So you just used grade-8 bolts to bolt the adapter plate to the motor, did you have to clearance the transmission at all? You are using the 5EAT, right? Is that 3/4" aluminum plate? frank_ster
1" thick aluminum plate no clearencing to the tranny at all pressed in nuts # 1 very strong # 2 minumin diameter of holes for water jet is 1/2 the thickness so the holes are 1/2" i was thinking of heli coil also but m12 isn't big enough it would have to be 1/2" thread then i would of had to drill the tranny bigger. the engine is probably 550 ft/lbs tq Now that's thinking out of the boxer! fyi all 05 + legacy's have built in code reader
