LGTspecB1657615261 Posted April 1, 2010 Share Posted April 1, 2010 Lip it up! I minor cutting with some sharp snips / cutters, and used a file to clean up the edge. It did not come out well, but when I installed the lip its just about impossible to see. Just had to shave about 1" off each side of the center "riser". It was too wide at the far ends, so I attached it in the middle, then bent the ends in and held them in place with clamps. Then I heated the corner and let it cool. After that, it stayed there. It was easy. It hangs off the ends a little bit. Have not decided what I want to do about that yet. Painted it with a flat black primer for now. Not sure if I want to keep it that way or not. FYI - take the bumper off. Its so easy to take off anyway, and it makes the job much simpler. I did it all by myself. Even if it's a little bit different, I would assume it would fit exactly the same. Mount it, cut the ends off and fill in the gaps in the middle, done.
