I think I am going to order up one of these and put it on. I am all about saving some money on something that my wife will probably cram into a curb.

Put on my lip today. Removing the bumper made it the easiest:

I utilized all 15 screws and washers that came with the lip:

Had to modify the under tray by cutting 4 notches so it wouldn't hit the screws used to screw on the lip. You could either cut the ends of the screw but I didn't have the tools: http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/mm92/iahtnoob/SL734368.jpg

Cut off the extra length on the ends and sanded the edges: http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/mm92/iahtnoob/SL734372.jpg

The two gaps you can see but for the price, I can deal. Overall, a nice addition: http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/mm92/iahtnoob/SL734375.jpg

Purchased a chargespeed style lip for the same 69.99 shipped. I'll post when it comes in and its on the car.

Should look pretty good if I can get it to fit. If not then It'll go up for sale on Nasioc.

are these all from the same vendor? i assume all of these are unpainted. while some look glossy plastic, others are a flat plastic?

I purchased mine from bestracingmotors on ebay for about $64 shipped. It has a glossy black finish.

nice! that'll be sweet, I'm still thinking of ways to fill the gaps right now, gotta wait till I get my hands on it though.

I know a few of the OP-ers said they didnt use anything to apply any heat, but I used a hair dryer on hot to get rid of the kinks from shipping which was amazing, and made it perfectly back to form. I will also be using it more this week (if it ever stops raining) to heat it and bend it t form of the LGT bumper

^ Heck, even PU isn't indestructible....and it's also why this particular solution has captured my attention.

It took me less than a half-hour to put on my RavSpec PU lip. I didn't even jack the car up.

My thinking is that at this price, I could perhaps buy one or two, pre-form/modify them to be of near-perfect aesthetics, and then just hang them up in my garage, to await the inevitable. Or, alternatively, given that it takes so little time for me to do the lip change-over, I could simply run one of these - with the imperfections, even - as a winter setup.

I really don't think there needs to be a walkthrough. In reality it is just like installing any of the other lips that you can buy, the difference being that you need to bend it a little more and put in some more screws. Of course you also have to cut the ends off if you want to make it flush but that is pretty self explanitory. I might take my bumper off again this weekend and paint the lip, if I do I will take better picture of the bottom. I have probably 25 screws in mine, because I didn't want any gaps.

BTW, it looks great on the 08-09!

^ Agreed, it looks much better on the '08-'09s.

I think that the want of a walk-through is simply because there's a sub-population here on LGT.com who are not as comfortable with DIY stuff as others. :)

Damn, it's been a long time since I worked with Bondo. :) Anyone wanna walk-through that, for me!?!
