Verwilderd
Keith also added some boost. I was wrong about the lag... it must just be a seat-of-the-pants artifact... I dunno why it feels more laggy... maybe because I can hear the "whoosh" from the intake/fmic and I really want torque when I hear that, but I don't get it Anyway, enjoy. FMIC + Intake gets 2 thumbs up from me. The "stock" numbers are only estimated based on what I've heard of stock LGTs on this same dyno. For reference, a stock 2009 STi put up 220 whp / 220 wtq on this dyno. The stg 2.5 hp numbers are just slightly low due to the conversion from printout to scanned image to excel data. In the processed data, I got 251 peak, but the actual number per dyno sheet was 256 peak. Keith tune FTW! He did mine after I got my FMIC....I think I ended up making 261 whp and 310 wtq on his dyno. His tunes are very strong... especially considering these numbers are from an uncorrected mustang dyno lol
kirbwrx
I will be revisiting Keith for my retune once I get my FMIC and intake installed. Nice numbers on your part, thats just stage2 with a FMIC and intake?

Nice numbers on your part, thats just stage2 with a FMIC and intake? Mine are all the typical "stage 2" parts plus an electronic boost contoller. I've been told that I have one of those "frankenstein" turbos. I remember when Keith still had the stock vf46 on his spec b and mod-4-mod, I was always making more power than him due to my vf46 flowing much more than his. But yeah...those numbers were from his extremely low reading mustang dyno.

dr_sharp
Haha... that's awesome that you're making so much whp/wtq while using the SPT intake. There are so many people that talk smack about that intake. lol
Verwilderd
Yeah a lot of people have really talked smack about that intake, however keith says it's not that bad to tune for and that there are definitely far worse out there. I think the only problem with this intake is that it's only going to be good up to certain point before it maxes out.
itsme
Here are the pictures of the black powder kit installed on a '08 WRX. It gives that stealth look very clean and subtle. It will fit the same on LGT and STI's http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u156/itsmebryan/DSCN0049.jpg http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u156/itsmebryan/DSCN0048.jpg http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u156/itsmebryan/DSCN0046.jpg You can't even see the FMIC for that stealth look. http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u156/itsmebryan/DSCN0054.jpg Racer X FMIC for '05-'09 LGTs, '08+ WRX and '10+ LGT,'14+ FXT, and '15+ WRX TMIC Racerxengineering.com

Code
Is there any plan to sell just the piping? What should we do if we need to replace a component of the system?
