whitetiger
The dash board is hideous. its so tall. infact the whole car is just to tall. it almost looks like ther is no ride height difference between the legacy and ouback. It it true about no rear LSD? whats the point then of 260+ hp if you can even put the power down well.

whitetiger
they may as well not even have AWD in the legacy while they are at it. Camery buyers dont car about AWD either.
lgt_nube
I couldn't agree more. I still get flattering comments about the design of my 2005 LGT wagon; it surprises people that a wagon looks so sleek. The 2005 based Legacy had a real grace of design - it was fluid and a very clean design - especially the wagon. my 2005 LGT Wagon will be with me for a while - and that is a good thing. whitetiger
any underhood pics yet showing turbo location?
ShadowImg
From the sounds of it, to see the turbo you'll actually need to be under the car. Sounds like they mated it up right down where the manifold attaches to the heads.

ShadowImg
^ The picture from the Japanese magazine with the white wagon version of the 2010 over there actually looked really good.
StoplightAssassin
This is the turbo diesel version but it may give some ideas to the mounting/orientation of the gas turbo http://puregreencars.com/files/Subaru-Diesel-engine.jpg
ShadowImg
One thing I don't get. With this new orientation of the engine bay, and the new front end of the Legacy, it looks like it was born for a FMIC. Yet they stuck with a TMIC. The new front end has that huge gaping hole at the bottom with no radiator behind it, and the turbo is right there. The fog lights are effectively non-existent. What in the world stopped them? readisland
What?!?!?!? No more Spec B I will have to see one in person, but it looks like they have made a mess of a great car Are we sure on this? The Spec B is gone? Also, do we know anything about the new 265 horse motor they are putting in it? I thought I remember hearing about problems with that motor in the WRX?
Verwilderd
It's not the WRX motor....and the problems were with the turbo. And no Spec B. I can promise you that. I was told by SOA quite a few months ago that they were doing away with the Spec B.
lester_strud
It's funny how the ugliest Subaru (B9 tribeca) after its redesign is now the best looking subaru out there. With exception of 05-09 Legacy of course.

cman7
I checked my mail a few days ago and found this in my inbox: http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k148/coreboy7/funnypictars/boldnew.jpg I laughed when I read that part. The design is so bold it looks just like a camralticord.:lol:ROFL!
