uh.. the spec B has different rims and suspension.. and interior... oh and the 6MT for newer ones. I dont thinkt he 06s had that.

other than that.. theres no difference. unless you consider having a manual/navi combo as a difference.. the manual/navi combo was not available last I checked in any model except the B.

the BP/BL thing refers to the 1st couple letters of your vin.Don recall now but one is wagon and one is sedan. B4 iirc is the body style/gen of our cars which is the same from 05-09 for usdm or 04-09 I suppose for jdm markets.

when it says its compatable with the 2007 Liberty Sedan (2007 Legacy GT) then theres a good chance it would fit the 2008 as well ?

arith... just let me know when you are about to change something on the car style, and give your old stuff to Woodstock Legacy Donation Foundation. ok? ;)

Heh-heh. I'm sure the shipping cost alone would make buying new from Japan the better value. :)

But as far as I know, the USDM market is 1 year behind the JDM/AUD market in terms of model years. So:

Series A~C (Pre-Face Lifted Model)

> JDM 2004-2006

> AUD 2004-2006

> USDM 2005-2007

Series D~F (Post-Face Lifted Model)

> JDM 2007-2009

> AUD 2007-2009

> USDM 2008-2009

when it says its compatable with the 2007 Liberty Sedan (2007 Legacy GT) then theres a good chance it would fit the 2008 as well ?

If you have the 2008 Legacy (equal to the 2007 Liberty) which is the D~F series, then yes, the bumper picture in the link should fit. Keep in mind due to the DOT safety requirements the front and rear bumpers for USDM models are longer than JDM/AUD ones. So you'll probably have to shave the foam insert to make it fit.

Any chance you could treat us to some video footage of this car?

LOL! Unfortunately it sounds like a standard issue Legacy with a turbo back exhaust setup. So I guess I never found it special enough to record.

Turbo upgrade is coming soon, but for now I've just acquired decent looking side skirts and a rear lower bumper spoiler.

Can we trade? At least for a week? A day even?

What kind of overlays did you use on the chrome strip of the tail lights, btw?

Sorry, it's been a while since I was on here. But the chrome strips are held by x2 screws. Just remove the taillights, undo the screws, and you can remove the chrome strip. From there just sand it down and paint it.

I pretty much saturated what I could do with the car comestically. I did try a few performance mods, but the noise that came from them was too much for the family to bear. So I had to un-do some of the performance mods I tacked on. Oh well. Perhaps the next car.

For now it's just a lot of little touches that complete the car for me. I know there's going to be controversy on some of them, especially since it's a lot of rice! Ay, can't please everyone. ;)

it just occured to me just how clean that car is.. its almost like it was detailed in place.. theres no way it could have been driven and been that clean.

my truck is black and was only clean for about 10 minutes after it was detailed. As soon as I took it on the road.. it was filthy.

and its stayed that way.

I think the tail lights looked better un-tinted.

Yeah, there's 2 camps on that thought. I do have a spare set of taillights that has the 50% tint instead of the current 30%. You still see the red but without the awful neon glow/glare. Just wondering if I should swap to 50%.
