ilh
Cool Pic. Do you need a permit to fly over NYC?When I did it in 2004, no. Well, you do need a pilot's license. You could fly up the river under 1500ft (?) without needing permission. We were flying at 3000ft inside New York's ATC-controlled airspace, mostly for safety to keep out of the relatively uncontrolled airspace below. Inside such a class B airspace, controllers will keep you separated from other aircraft based on radar. I don't know if the situation has changed since then, but I doubt it. This was after 9/11, and there was some pressure at the time to restrict such uncontrolled air traffic. --Lee

DocHolladay23
^^ Yeah that's tight, if I could get any akai MPC I'd be a very happy camper. What I like about the first one is he uses a drum track, but no loops. That's be pretty hard to stay on beat and switch for 2 and a half mins. But EQ is tight. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] You want stickers? Deaks2
Hey Deaks... What is this structure... Looks interesting It's the Vimy War Memorial near Vimy, France (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canadian_National_Vimy_Memorial). It was built in the 1930's to commemorate Canada's WW1 war dead. The site was chosen because the Battle of Vimy Ridge is one of Canada's most celebrated victories (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Vimy_Ridge). Gire
^^^ That Wiki entry is the most awesome and scary thing I've read there in a long while. I can't believe the fact that 20-40 Japanese die from these monsters every year! And: The venom contains at least eight distinct chemicals, some of which damage tissue, some of which cause pain, and at least one which has an odor that attracts more hornets to the victim. Thats comforting!
