TRS Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 Some "saggy butt shims" in development over on nasioc... http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1442727 If enough Legacy people are interested it might be able to convince the developers to do a version for the BL/BP too.
ejoy1220 Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 That is interesting. I think I'll try the extra perches first, and if they're not high enough, I'll look into these spacers.
rexster Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 i might get two sets, one for the car and one for the wif...

RaceComp Engineering Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 Shane....this would be awesome if you could put something together like this....some of our Bilstein HD customers are wanting this! Wish we we had an extra rear tophat for you. - Andrew
paranoid56 Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 since you all have these cars how much thread is exposed above the nut? trying to figure out a max thickness for them. Shane
ultimakf7 Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 When I installed mine, i think i only had 1/8" to 3/16" thread exposed... not much.

Maybe we could get some clarification?
bosco Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 I think he's referring to the two strut bolts on top, after being installed in the car. Maybe we could get some clarification? ok then the stud length (two @) for the rear top hats is 13/16" bosco Stay Stock Stay Happy
paranoid56 Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 yea, the two studs as these would go on top of the tophats like in the imprezas.
bosco Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 yea, the two studs as these would go on top of the tophats like in the imprezas. i think i see what your trying to do or then again maybe not are you wanting to use a spacer on top of the top hat? if thats the case then longer studs (they just press in) and you could make the spacer pretty much as thick as you need. bosco Stay Stock Stay Happy

Zed 2.0 Posted March 11, 2008 Posted March 11, 2008 Or you could just install properly designed suspension And what setup would that be?
SBT Posted March 11, 2008 Posted March 11, 2008 I think that this would be the way to go, versus adding an additional spring pad in the mix. Somehow, the thought of two extra "soft" components in the rear suspension, doesn't inspire confidence. SBT - Pro amore Dei et patriam et populum -
