famaya26 Posted December 18, 2012 Share Posted December 18, 2012 Not an LGT, but why I am not looking for one now. My '08 Impreza. Hit by a fully loaded 4-axle dump truck just after the b-pillar. Spun a few times, went airborn, flew through the air according to witnesses (the hit blacked me out). Took out a utility pole with the bottom of the car, a street sign with the top of the hood. Landed on it's side about 50' off the road. No tracks through the snow up to the car, just fell out of the sky lol. Hit was hard enough for me to hit the passenger side door, lost part of my eyebrow, broke three ribs, a lot of weird bruises. Lucky to be here. Was 10 seconds from my parking spot at work when my Subaru decided she didn't want to turn. It just so happens at that corner we have our trash dumpster and the enclosure right there. Completely bent the frame and ripped strut tower. Was wearing seat belt but still hit windshield. Under old pick up truck at around 70mph his fault. All I walked away with was glass in my left arm and light burn in my right. Plowed right through the guardrail and bounced off the bridge with my passenger door into the Lake.
