  1. Owner of OTL Performance is a friend of mine, and he is a distributor for Outfront. I got a great price and only paid once.
  2. Closed deck was done through Off The Line Performance, who goes through Outfront Motorsports.
  3. I'll just say that this build is substantially different than the last. I have all the parts, now it's just finding the time to assemble everything.
  4. If I'm not the first 4th gen into the 10's, I'll be damn sure to bury it into the 10's instead
  5. I haven't posted in a while, so here's a sneak peak at what's to come. http://www.strizzyphoto.com/photos/i-bF6q22p/0/XL/i-bF6q22p-XL.jpg
  6. I don't want to make it seem like I'm trying to push a product, but here is another option for spec.B rear axles. http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/ultimate-6-speed-spec-b-rear-axle-upgrade-group-buy-237940.html

  8. What are all of your thoughts on rear axles with no HP limit and a lifetime no questions asked warranty, for around $1k? If you do manage to break it, a stronger replacement will be made for you.
  9. My intent for the spec.B was to be my daily driver for my modified Jeep Wrangler. Then I thought to myself, "I'll just go stage 2 and leave it there." Then a ringland went. Then down the rabbit hole I fell. I no longer have the Wrangler and bought a DD for my DD.
  10. Stay tuned for the new build to be revealed soon. Motor and trans are out. Just waiting for the time to put the new stuff in. This round is voluntary. Everything was running absolutely perfect for over 12k miles.
  11. Thanks! I ended up repairing it. Pretty much impossible to notice it was even damaged, except for a tiny area on one of the mounting tabs. Even then, you'd still have to know what you are looking for. And it's highly unlikely it will break at the repair. Next up will eventually be a JDM front bumper, fenders, and LHD EDM headlights.

  13. My last DIY cable went out, mainly due to a parent not understanding how auxiliary music cables work. As I mentioned to BMB in a past PM, I purchased one of these, http://www.ebay.com/itm/310742466145, and recently soldered a 3.5mm headphone jack on the end, then downloaded and installed the drivers to my laptop. The cable works perfectly, with zero need for supplies other than the 3.5mm headphone jack. If you don't mind waiting for a month, you can get it cheaper from China/Hong Kong. I prefer to buy from US sellers to get it sooner. As long as you hook up the VCC and Rx to the right terminals, nothing can really go wrong.
  14. Figured out where melting plastic smell, I've recently noticed, has been coming from. http://www.strizzyphoto.com/photos/i-mJX3bWK/0/XL/i-mJX3bWK-XL.jpg That's the fuse block (in my trunk) for my dual fuel pumps in my surge tank. I'm not sure why this would suddenly happen, as I've never had an issue with it getting even remotely warm in the past. I'm going to replace the fuse block and fuses, rewire it, and monitor it the next few weeks. Other than that, I still can't get over how fantastic the car feels.
  15. Probably a whole lot more than I think I have into it. I stopped keeping track after the 3rd motor when I went crazy with the build.
  16. HOA 3-port EBCS. I did a 1st thru 4th log with launch control and noticed my WGDC didn't go higher than 90%. The car honestly feels better (and faster) than it has before, after being retuned (by a different tuner). It's actually making me reconsider some rebuild plans I have in mind this winter. I have attached a log of my run, just to give an idea of how fast I get through 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gears from a stand still. datalog221.csv
  17. What is even better is my drivability after the retune. Other than my clutch chattering making it sound like I have diesel at idle, you would never know it's modified as it is.
  18. A "heads up" for you all who may be regular Home Depot customers. Over the last month I became a victim of a clever scam while out shopping. Simply going out to get supplies has turned out to be quite traumatic. Don't be naive enough to think it couldn't happen to you. Here's how the scam works: Two seriously good-looking 18 or 19-year-old girls come over to your car as you are packing your shopping into the trunk. They both start wiping your windshield with a rag and Windex, with their breasts almost falling out of their skimpy T-shirts. It is impossible not to look. When you thank them and offer them a tip, they say "No" and instead ask you for a ride to another Home Depot. You agree and they get in the back seat. On the way, they start having sex with each other. Then one of them climbs over into the front seat and performs oral sex on you, while the other one steals your wallet. I had my wallet stolen March 4th, 9th, 10th, twice on the 15th, 17th, 20th, 28th, three times just yesterday, and very likely again this upcoming weekend as soon as I can buy some more wallets. Again - beware!!
  19. Did some more tuning over the weekend. Also removed my hybrid boost control setup and replaced my Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator with one from Manga Fuel. Made some significant gains, and also learned of a slight wastegate issue that the hybrid boost control setup was hiding. Due to that, My boost is currently maxed at 28psi at 100% wgdc. http://www.strizzyphoto.com/photos/i-bbsR5LK/0/O/i-bbsR5LK.jpg Overlay with my previous tune: http://www.strizzyphoto.com/photos/i-WhHMZz8/0/O/i-WhHMZz8.jpg I will also be having custom specB rear axles made. I'm currently in the process of that and should see something newly manufactured soon.
