MiniStiGuy
Yeah I hate all the idiots with lifted trucks in TX... especially those ones with the balls hanging from the hitch. OEM HID's Rx330 Retro

aac0036
This happened exactly a month ago, and my car just went into the shop this Friday (damn insurance.) Hit a car full of high schoolers that decided to turn in front of me at 30 mph. http://i.imgur.com/LkwsXIl.jpg http://i.imgur.com/ds6tvV9.jpg http://i.imgur.com/guguxIE.jpg http://i.imgur.com/TwFr4Dg.jpg
aac0036
This isn't the reason I got into a Legacy, but it was my first new car and I had this happen to it... while I was driving home. Good thing I have comprehensive insurance, damage was about $6k but there was no frame damage. Just a few more blocks and I would have been home. I kept the car for about a year after and was tired of all the bad luck, so then I traded. http://i.imgur.com/n8k8oi1.jpg http://i.imgur.com/9gO2BEB.jpg http://i.imgur.com/G9nnH6n.jpg http://i.imgur.com/lIhDDC6.jpg http://i.imgur.com/aftfwnm.jpg http://i.imgur.com/SdeRHpH.jpg http://i.imgur.com/t6mXne9.jpg http://i.imgur.com/tycgLBl.jpg A pic of the better days, Naples FL: http://i.imgur.com/cQUMLZg.jpg

aac0036
Ouch, make sure all your suspension bits are ok since it looks like you went over the curb!
Nordica-k2
Yeah suspension where the car got hit is apparently shot (Being fully assessed today) EDIT: apparently there's 26,500$ worth of damage, it's a write-off :/ (AUD here)

AKHawkeye
Nice! Ya shoulda kept the rims off that Forester. They were a set of cheap wheels that came with the car when I bought it last year. I just spray painted them gold. Not to worry though, I have a set of gold Prodrive P1's that I'm having wrapped in rubber this week to replace my stockers. Eliott
Worked at a USPS warehouse over Christmas, parked out back because there wasn't much parking. Hit and run in the middle of the night. Bumper was toast, quarter panel destroyed, driver's side rear door scratched, light cracked, trunk cracked. Merry Christmas me! No idea who hit me and no one confessed, so I get to pay my full $1000 deductible from my already struggling "19 year old college kid with his own apartment and a bunch of bills" fund. http://i973.photobucket.com/albums/ae216/eliotteltgroth/photo5_zps3a9e4a77.jpg
987687
Damn dude, that's wicked shitty. I know how it feels to live on your own and go to school, I'd be driving a crashed up car until summer. I generally avoid shit like this... by riding my bicycle everywhere whenever possible. And owning a car that has more scrap value than book value... 987687
Yea, that's pretty shitty allover. My first car I bought when I was 18 wasn't nearly that nice, and I'd have been totally pissed. It had a crash or two, but never like that. Over the years I've just bought progressively more terrible cars to the point where I don't think I can go down anymore... It would have been a little less maddening if it was my fault. Managers comes over "Anybody drive a subaru?" went downhill from there.
fishbone
I don't mean to shit all over your parade, but it doesn't take much to total out our aging 4th gen Legacies, especially a 2.5i. Who knows, it may work in your favor. Call your insurance.
Eliott
Yea, people have been telling me that, but I love fourth gen legacys. I've been looking around for a gt to trade in for. Found a couple but in a tight spot financially so holding off for a bit.
fishbone
Don't get me wrong, the reason I said it doesn't take much to total it out is due to the market value of the car, not that there is something inherently wrong with the car.
