When we were dialing in the boost control, we had a few pulls spike 28 psi and it made 500 ftlbs at 4200 rpm. I would guess HP at 28psi would be near 450-460, but I don't plan on finding out till the block gets sleeved, which won't happen till I blow it up. I'm a bit worried about the tranny holding up with this kind of torque though.

everyone I take for a ride says 2nd gear is scary and 3rd and 4th are quite impressive.

I'm jaded though. I deal with 600hp cars on an almost daily basis. We had a 2000lb kit car Cobra with 450+ ftlbs at 2200rpm and 436hp at redline in here this week. It's just a whole different game.

The outback feels good to me, but I got used to it after only a week. The struts are blown and the car squats really really bad, so that sucks alot of the power away. That's next on my to-do list. The driveability of it now is amazing. I used to have to keep the revs above 3000 to get any decent power out of it. Now I can mash it at 2000 and make about 5lbs of boost and after a few seconds I've got 18lbs by 3000rpm. It's a dream setup for a subaru. I wonder what an EFR turbo would do?

I looked through well over 1000 dyno sheets the other day and there is nothing that looks like mine. The closest thing is a GT-R.

One of these days I hope to get my outback somewere up in the high 300 low 400 hp range but that not happening for a while. I think your mod list is bigger than my 3 previous cars and my current one now. For now all I have thats worth noting is legacy suspension and soon to be stage 2 after my clutch and flywheel go in

there are days I think about what my next car will be if my Legacy dies. (hopefully never)

1st on the list will be an 05 Outback.

Manual XT's seem a bit hard to find. 2.5i's are plentyful however the lack of power is not appealing.

For those with automatics in XT's and 3.0R's how do you like? Love the power from my GT.

258k miles - Stock engine/minor suspension upgrades/original shocks/rear struts replaced at 222k/4 passenger side wheel bearings/3 clutches/1 radiator/3 turbos

Greg, great pics man. really. I had those STi seats in my WRX wagon and they saved my life in a crash way back in the day. Tell me, did the air bag sensor plug in too? and what year are the seats...? Finally, curious to know what the BR coilovers ride like compared to the megans you had previously...

BC/BR are night and day better. 5 from hard, like on rails. Put them on 10 from soft and its just awesome on rough roads. I run them at 15, right in the middle most of the time.

STI seats are 04 and the airbags plugged right in. I put the seatback and bottom cushion on the factory Legacy/OB frames. Worked perfect, even the passenger weight sensors.

Ive got 141,000 on the car now and not getting rid of her anytime soon. Some day when it needs it, Crawford Motor, and an STI Tranny, DCCD, Axels and Diff swap....

curious Greg, do you have a ipod and sirius controller on the stereo? or is the cubby just a input and the stereo doesn't show it on the screen? I have the sirius but the iphone is run through the aux input in the center concole.

I have the 2007 Spec B radio which has Sat and Aux in button, and I have the Sirius module for that year as well.

The 2007 also had an AUX input in the arm rest cubby in the console, so I swapped that in as well.

Sounds like mine is like yours.

I did write up what I did in the Spec B radio thread.
