  1. I have come to claim the slowest time of the forum for a stock lgt/obxt. I am part of the 14 second club OH YEAH!! Did a 14.956@91.07. My ET is a bit off because when i brought the rpm's up to launch I rolled out of the staging area. Forgot to use my ebrake. Oh well. That means I shaved 1.9 seconds and added 16mph to my trap speed for my fastest time. Event: New Years Drags Location: Sacramento Raceway Date: 1/1/14 14.956 @ 91.07 - OutbackXT05 5mt Ambient Temp: 65 F Elevation: Elevation, 40 feet above sea level Weather: Clear Car: 2005 Outback XT 5mt Tuner: Stock Track info: Kinda prepped Transmission: 5 speed Peak Horse Power at RPM: 250bhp says subaru Peak Torque at RPM: 250bhp says subaru Fuel: Good ole arco california 91 octane baby Engine/Power Modifications: Unbolted catback for the super fast subaru sound while Im flying down the track Driveline Modifications: Exedy oem replacement clutch still getting it on Suspension Modifications: Coilovers Other Modifications: STI badges, Legacy roof rails for aerodynamics, rallyarmors to flap around going down the track
  2. Spotted a lgt at sac raceway today. Fmic lowered wheels and exhaust.
  3. Ahh ok. I was looking at the 08+ wrx whole kit. So the intake cleared the abs unit/coolant tank? The downpipe was the only small fitment issue? Would love to see some engine bay shot because ive yet to see a UR kit on a legacy.
  4. And also how big of a difference was it hp/tq wise. Going from stock location to rotated?
  5. Did you get the whole UR rotated kit? And was it for a 08 wrx? I was thinking about trying to make it work. Car looks FAST!!
  6. Hopefully everything goes smooth. Cant wait to see what she can do.
  7. Wheels: 18x8.75 +35 XXR 530s Tires: Hankook V12 Evo 255/40/18 Fenders: Hacked, Cutted, Painted (No rubbing) http://i622.photobucket.com/albums/tt307/fibtlcivic/334366_476753319023736_1619181657_o.jpg http://i622.photobucket.com/albums/tt307/fibtlcivic/7796622408_9d5847bcbd_k-Copy2.jpg
  8. Couldve done the 12.9 if I could get get the launch down. I was doing 1.9-2.0 60' all day with my stock turbo. http://i622.photobucket.com/albums/tt307/fibtlcivic/IMG_4491_zps78ddd1d4.jpg Looking super stock http://i622.photobucket.com/albums/tt307/fibtlcivic/IMG_4489_zpsa2293475.jpg And for comparison my buddies exhaust/intake terminator ran a 13.1@111 and other friends C5 ran a 13.1@108. So I guess my 13.0@107 wasnt too bad. I know she had a 12.9 in her. Event: Wednesday Night Drags Loaction: Sacramento Raceway Date: 08/11/2010 Ambient Temp: 75F Elevation: 50ft Weather: clear Car: 2005 Outback XT Tuner: Infamous E-Tune Transmission: stock 5speed Peak Horse Power at RPM: Judging by trap speed ~310whp Peak Torque at RPM: ~300wtq Fuel: Cali 91 Engine/Power Modifications: Blouch 20G XT, DW740cc, DW65c, RacerX FMIC, TBE, Tomioka EL headers, KS Tech 73mm intake Driveline Modifications: Edexy oem replacement clutch (FX300 got fried last week), Group N Trans Mount Suspension Modifications: Coilovers, sway bars Other Modifications: Stock tires because the 255s were too grippy
  9. Ya id imagine the dom3 would be laggy. I have a blouch 20gxt td06 8cm and i dont hit peak boost till about 3900rpm. Which Ive gotten used to now. Just wish I could rev out a little higher. One thing that i saw was off with numbers for comparison was im flowing about 360ish g/s with a 47lb turbo but id imagine Im only around 330whp. Of course I wont know till I dyno it.
  10. Very nice I wanna be on there once my tune is done. And your probably shooting for that number 1 spot hu?
  11. Ya i wont lie ill be a little bit of a hooligan leaving the meet. But nothing stupid like some people do.
  12. Ya i saw you too but you werent at your car when i was checking it out. Looks good though.
  13. Spotted this bad boy on the way home from school. http://i622.photobucket.com/albums/tt307/fibtlcivic/photo5_zps75883ff7.jpg And the rare siting of a legacy wagon and an outback wagon in the same pic. http://i622.photobucket.com/albums/tt307/fibtlcivic/photo4_zpsd50daa21.jpg
  14. Just to chime in. My oem motor cracked #2 & #4 ringlands at 84.5k miles. Put a 2012 ej257 in thinking sweet good for 350whp here i come. 3900 miles later at stg2 protuned cylinder 4 is toast again. This time i did forged pistons new bearings a bunch of other small things. For the same price as the oem block with me doing the labor. Oviously gonna be more pricey with a shop doing it but the bare basics are: New block ~$1800 Basic built block (bearings, forged pistons with machine work) ~900-1200. Its a different story when your paying someone else but of course gotta pay to play.
  15. Was good to see 3 legacys at the fremont canibeat meet tonight.
  16. Just seen a white 4th gen on teal stockers at the canibeat meet in fremont. Was watching for the owner but you left while i wasnt looking
  17. Ya thats probably what mine is because it definently wasnt the tune. I got rid of the tune asap once my motor was replaced.
  18. Ya thats like my last motor. #2 had a huge chunk that was cracked and held the same exact compression as #1 and 3. #4 on the other hand had like 40 and 7 cracks
  19. No i didnt. Last time it was dynod it was a solid 12.5 or so i believe all the way to redline if i remember correctly
  20. It was infamous tuned. 100% oem block/pistons and only ~230-260whp range. Ya ive heard a couple bad stories about the 08+ stuff and one story almost identical to mine except his went at 44k then 48k. Where as mine was 85k then 89k miles.
  21. I wish my shortblock lasted. Gonna have to do a rebuild on it already. 3900 miles on a 2012 ej257 and its #4 piston go boom again. And thats with equal length headers.
  22. And its a GT. That thing must be crazy fast to have a two tone paint job. I guess thats why subaru gives them to outbacks from factory.
  23. Oh hmmmm that would be easier. Only thing there that scares me is all the rusted bolts that have never been broken loose.
  24. I knowthis walkthrough is for the front which i still need to do. But for the rear do you have to remove the whole trailing arm? Or is there an easier way. I was an idiot and forgot to do my cv boot when i did my rear trailing arm bushings.
