So I've been working on porting SSM to .NET 4.0. I was successful, and I can read all the data for the gauges I want. I'm using a Tactrix cable and the OpenPort 2.0 driver. I'm in the process of designing a new gauge panel that is a bit prettier, but the current project DOES work showing you six gauges. Thinking of digital STI branded gauges or something. Still in progress, but once I'm closer I'll start my own thread. :)

Please post a link if you start a new thread. This sounds awesome and I don't want to miss seeing your work!

Interesting. that's looks like something I would be interested in. I just hope my navi is compatible. Can anyone chime in?

Also for me - I can't believe we are the only ones interested and that no one here has ordered/installed this. Otherwise why would they sell it ?

Anyone know what year legacy it's compatible with. I wasn't sure if the 2008 was just for the Impreza, or all the models.

This came directly from a sales associate at Car Solutions.

That 9900 unit looks interesting. I like the fact that it's Android based. Does anyone know if this replaces the current DVD based system when it connects to the touchscreen or if it runs in parallel to it? Some of the info on the OEM screen such as range, fuel economy and outside temperature are useful items, and if I went with something like this, I'd rather not lose that functionality.

Those functions are part of the screen and not the DVD unit, so you can replace the DVD unit with these and you will retain those functions.

I had been looking at these the other day (and replied on another thread) but thought the Android version didn't support our screen's resolution. I must have missed this 9900 model.

It looks pretty interesting and open, letting you install any apk you want from the SD card (unlike the Parrot Asteroid Smart that needs to have things sideloaded). And much easier to integrate if you already have a screen.

I read through the manual and it doesn't say exactly how the screen is connected to it. There's an RGB and a DATA connector which I assume are what the OEM Nav unit has

Too bad their newer Andromeda box only supports 800x480 resolutions, but it also seems it requires an external touchscreen. The 9900 doesn't support Bluetooth out of the box it seems, so no handsfree calls.

I'm tempted to order one of the 9900 units, but it's out of stock at the moment.
