caddygti16v
Other models have this kind of thread so I figured why not here as well. Doesn't have to be from today precisely but just what you did to or with it recently. I'll start[emoji16], "installed" some 3m clear film on my headlights to keep them in pristine condition. Worked well on my other 20+ year old cars. Can't see it, but it's on haha. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
caddygti16v
Picked up some new winter wheels and slightly used studded tires. Can't wait for winter as our summer was basically non existent. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
dannygeorge17
I’ve installed a Perrin pitch stop mount and steering dampener, from nameless I’ve installed an 18-19 legacy axelback exhaust, strut tower bar, and battery tie down. Installed hella horns as well. And yellow fog light tint (vinyl) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
caddygti16v
Picked up a trunk liner, fit and finish is great. Also ran down the fuel till it said no more range. Got 860km and 7.5 litres 100km. Could of made it 920km to a totally empty tank. That's about 90% highway. caddygti16v
Installed the winter wheels, a bit noisier due to the studs and aggressive tire but not that bad. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk

Rick91981
A crappy thing happened, stupid weak new windshields on the 2020. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk Not just in the 2020s, happened to me in my 2019 too. Twice. This replacement is a aftermarket not OEM and so far...knock on wood...so good. Cobber15
My windshield has probably hundreds of micro pits in it. My 16 had a ton too. The windshield never cracked, but good lord it’s a ton of tiny chips that glisten when you drive into the sun. I’ve had my 20 only 11 months. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk I got mine done at Safelite. They will probably do aftermarket for you as well. You could always call them up and ask them. Not a bad idea to wait until spring, both times mine cracked were mid winter.
caddygti16v
No Safelite in Canada. Fingers crossed the one company up here in the North has another brand by the time I replace it. Had good luck with "PGW" brand in other cars. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk

caddygti16v
Nice, I like it. Playing with the idea of changing out the last remaining incandescent bulbs with LEDs. So weird that not everything is led to begin with. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
caddygti16v
Hit a chunk of ice the other day that was just a tad taller than the ground clearance. The plastic belly pan didn't like that and it now has a rip in it. Was looking around for some aftermarket aluminum skid plates and all of them were for the Outback. But there is a Subaru OEM skid plate in either aluminum or steel, was listed for the Outback as well but turns out it fits the Legacy too, so I ordered the painted steel one. Let's see how it holds up. I'll update once I get it. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
caddygti16v
Got the skid plate today, quite a bit beefier than I expected. Will update once I install it. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
Ronin3.6R
Got a micro USB so I can have another music choice and not block that small storage space with a full size one. Got a trunk organizer as well. Pleasant surprise as I noticed the back of my rear seats are rubber vs carpet. That will be great if they are down and I'm hauling something. The windshield debate was going on a few years back when I had my 17. Needed a new one and my insurance provided a Subaru one. On #2, Safelite came out with an after market. I did not even get it calibrated, it worked fine. This purchase the dealer warned me about after market windshields etc (they have coverage for 1000 bucks) and my insurance company says its no issue, we cover that. The dealer was adamant they have had multiple problems with after market products, insurance companies and I bet they have. However I did not buy the Subaru plan. My insurance company stated they insure thousands of Subaru's and all is good..... I know they partner with safelite..

Have aftermarket on my 2019 (after going through 2 OEM ones) and Eyesight works perfectly after being re-calibrated for the new windshield. No issues with it at all. Just need to see if it will hold up without cracking, it's only been about 10 months so far.
caddygti16v
Installed the skid plate today, instructions were pretty garbage so there was some guessing involved. Took about 2.5h, seems worth the $178 Cad I paid. The plastic pan has some ducting on both sides whereas the steel one has the slots covered, might cut some holes in it if it gets too hot in summer. caddygti16v
Where did you find this at? i definitely need one with the way these roads get torn up in the Nebraska winters. You can order it directly from the Subaru parts department, part number is in the 2nd pic! "E515SAN010" There is also an aluminum one available but it's more $$$. Ronin3.6R
I have the Subaru rubber / winter type mats but they are not really up to speed. Trunk mat is great however and middle row is fine. Ordered Weathertec for front. Also noticed a really nice option in the car. The back of the rear seats is rubber/mat type material. Makes sense if you have the seats down and are hauling something that may harm the typical carpet that is there.....

caddygti16v
Don't think nameless has anything for the XT/GT unless the 2019 version of the 3.6 fits, which I doubt. I inquired once and they never responded. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
Ronin3.6R
Anyone replace the front grill emblem on a 20/21 yet? Thing is the size of a small billboard. A black one would look better I think... Is it the good ol 3M tape exercise?
