Recommended Posts

traded this for mine (fiancee's car): Then, we sold this: to get this: Kind of odd, but Subaru --> Subaru and convertible --> convertible

Much to the dealers dismay, because he didn't ask until we decided on price, I did not trade in my old car. Later I sold it and after 6 year of use, I sold the car and recovered the intrest I paid on the loan. I accually came out even, how strange is that? :icon_bigg

We traded in my wife's 2001 Mazda Miata LS: Not because we wanted to, but because we started a family and a Miata just no longer fit our needs. Definitely miss it, since it had the sport suspension with the LSD, the Bilstein shocks, the strut brace, and a six speed. Handled like a go-cart. What was strange is that we had to trade it in -- I tried to sell it private party for a few months in the spring and summer and just didn't get anything besides lowballs. Turned out I got just about as much for it from the dealer as I would have gotten private party. :icon_neut

i am in the process of selling a 450hp 2001 AWE Stage 3 S4 Sedan (that had been featured in the June 2005 EuroTuner Magazine)... for a Legacy GT Wagon.

2 kids and a dog and living in the Sierra will do that :(

2001 Honda Civic LX (SOHC 1.7L NON vtec) Mods were: T25, internal WG TSI FMIC TSI BOV TSI manifold TSI downpipe TSI fuel control w/2 extra injectors and injector block, plus lines, etc Hi flow cat, 2.25" exhaust Greddy Profec Spec-b EBC (I was at 7psi daily, 10psi for race) gauges, other misc crap. It was lowered on Tokico HPs and Goldline Springs w SPC rr camber kit and ingalls front camber kit. Fr/rr strut bars, grill, headlights, shaved emblems, tint, so much stuff was done to it. It was clean though. I loved it, but decided to sell the turbo than trade in the car for a factory turbo'd one. it had around 220 whp/tq. It was definately beefy for a SOHC 1.7l, lol. it took out G35s, Lotus Elise, and many other cars. Id say it was high 13 sec car. This car is awesome though. The LGT was such a nice upgrade. It feels a little slower, but its such a smooth ride/acceleration.

1990 Honda CRX, 187500 miles, ran like a sewing machine, cornered like a thing that corners really well. But it had no A/C, and topped out at 80mph. And you can't very well pull up to a client meeting in an oxidized POS.

2004 Acura TSX 6MT NAVI Nighthawk Black Pearl/ Ebony Leather Hondata ECU Reflash Injen CAI Eibach Pro-kit Lowering Springs, 1.4"F/1.6"R Rota Subzero 17x7.5+48 Yokohama AVS ES100 235/45ZR17 Comptech Rear Sawy Bar 22mm Ingalls Rear Camber Kit Axxis Ultimate Brake Pads Front & Rear Comptech Short Shifter w/ ClubRSX Shifter Bushings Mugen Shift Knob traded it in cause of 45,000miles (in 2 years and 2 weeks), running out of warrenty and a reoccuring clutch squeaking/creaking/notchyness..... i can't complain about the AWD and 2.5 T, but i do miss the high revving 4 banger..... 7600rpm.....and it handeled a bit better then the LGT, which isn't a slouch either..... the TSX felt more stable in corners, not as twitchy at the limit. but the only annoying this about the LGT is the stuttering problem....especially if i'm at like 2000rpm and hit the gas, it'll stutter like crazy, but i hope to get the AP to counter that..
