Agreed. All the sales research I've read said (at least for the hatch) was over 50% of the WRX sales were Hatch.

Try 45%.

All those regulations would cause even performance cars be electrical like Tesla or hybrid like Koenigsegg.

Did you really just bring up Koenigsegg as a point of comparison in a thread about a Legacy?

They estimated 35mpg, I forget the horsepower but something like 335hp or something. That's fuel efficiency isn't it?

I got close to 35mpg a few times in my WRX. No great shakes.

Yup.

Realize that technology used in supercars do trickle down to other cheaper cars over time. It's not as crazy as you may think.

Christian von Koenigsegg also used to own a Subie as a daily driver, I'm not sure if he still do.

Hey Guys. I just heard a terrible rumor that there might NOT be a GT variant for the Legacy in 2020! If the rumor proves to be true, this is TERRIBLE news for the future of the Legacy, and I predict Subaru will probably be bankrupt within a few years tops if they don't right the ship. Here's to hoping it's just a rumor.

I was thinking the other day that the number of 05-12 GT's will only go down and that the life of this forum as we know it won't last much more than 5-10 more years.

Is it possible for the number of '12 LGT's to go down?

When did they stop? 11? idgaf. I owned two and never plan own another.

Apparently there were '12s. I thought they made something like 103 2010's and 7 2011's before shutting it down.

according to GTEASER, the 2012 GT is more rare than a Spec B, too bad it wasn't coveted

I think there were close to the same number of each made in its final year, 112 Spec B's in 2009 and I think I read where in 2012 they made that many GT's or was it 113 ?

305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD).  CHECK your oil, these cars use it.

I don't think many hard core subaru lovers would love to buy a 5th gen Legacy GT, but a lot of them would love to get their hands on a Spec B. Hell, if I could get an 07 or 08 for 10 grand or less, I would do it and put a IAG Stage 3 block and a 20G in it.

Make it like this:

or like this:

Put 2.4DIT, 6 speed, HID/LED headlights, multilink rear suspension - pretty much what's available on other Subarus already.

Call for deposit check.

Problem solved.

Correct. And you never ever will. :drevillaugh:

Car & Driver this month has an article about station wagons (I at least think it was C&D) They list some of the raised wagon as wagons such as the Outback, Volvo XC, VW/Audi Alltrack. Subaru Outback sales basically dominates that definition of a wagon with 85% of the market. If you take the raised wagons out of the equation. The traditional sedan height wagon only comprised of 5 vehicles with 11,000 total sales through the 1st half of this calendar year. This is about 0.1% of US vehicle production. The wagon market is practically dead in the US.

But what about the 3 people on here who want one.

If only Subaru could offer the 2.0 Levorg to the rest of the world, that would satisfy a lot of the 4th gen huggers.

This would do:
