cryo
This is great guys, keep those requests posted as it will be something I can refer to cobb once the list gets to where we know it will. The other thing to keep in mind is this is not just for flex fuel. The cobb custom features provide the option so you can dummy both TGV sensors and the rear 02 for custom sensors *ie fuel pressure, oil pressure and wideband. plus you can use the fp sensor to have an active fuel pressure differential which is very helpful for the "stumble" due to pressure resonance and changing fuel pressure at the rail. cool stuff for sure. 1. Rhitter
Providing it's not $1200 for the tune alone, plus all of the hardware, like the other company I would be in. Cost of tune = at least $600 (probably closer to $800 to $1000) Cost of COBB access port = $500 Cost of flex fuel hardware = $600 Cost of ID1000 injectors = $500 (ish) Cost of DW65c fuel pump = $130 = total $2,330 Of course you can find some of the parts for cheaper (fuel pump and injectors). But the tuner has to develop two specific tunes for your vehicle and we can already see the pricing for the COBB hardware to support it. All that's being asked here is for COBB to release the software for the LGT. My OBXT build
gkinslow
Many of us already the majority of the components necessary and are simply awaiting Cobb support. I'm only lacking the injectors and FF tune. If these cost me <$2000 I'll be a happy camper. Edited September 9, 2016 by gkinslow

cryo
We currently charge $800 for the flex fuel kit for the 08+ wrx which includes the fuel pressure sensor *a huge benifit due to the active fuel pressure differential options Our prices for Etuning these setups are $400 for the gas E-tune $375 for the E85 E-tune and that includes blending the flex tables together etc. Flex fuel was a big part of the training we just completed at the COBB HQ and went through the proper way to adjust all tables effectively for the best overall results. I imagine the pricing will be the same for the lgt if it's released. Obviously dyno calibrations are more expensive Dave Edited September 10, 2016 by cryo [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Providing unmatched customer service and a Premium level of Dyno/E-tuning to the Community cryotuneperformance@yahoo.com facebook.com/cryotuneperformance. INVNO1
You can put my name on that list too please!! I have an 06 OBXT 5mt that already runs E85 and it would be VERY nice to have have to drain the tank and then switch maps to be able to just store the car with 93oct in it

E85 is likely in my car's future, but I would use the hell out of some more analog inputs. Your not kidding, I have started using all of these features on 08+ WRX's just because they are there. Not to mention per gear boost control/timing control which may or may not be in the CCF for the older models due to ecu logic etc. Regardless having fuel pressure/wideband etc is HUGE! Looks like this slowed down a little but I will update the most recent list to the front page. coldsoda
Arizona went to an e55 only blend year round I was really wanting flexfuel with e85 but even still the e55 is a lot nicer than the crappy 91 we get. cryo
Yeah I know, I keep it fresh in their minds though, its all about market share and the DIT crowd as well as the 04-07 STI crowd has the numbers...at least we haven't been written off in the LGT community like most FXT guys figure.... TheMonaLisa
I'de be happy if Cobb would give us any sort of update, anything at all. Even if the kit won't be released for another year or more, I'm happy to wait. If they are never gonna release a kit for the LGT, I hope they would announce it so we're not waiting for years needlessly. cryo
I know it's frustrating for sure, it costs a lot of money for the r&d and I agree it would be nice for a "yes or no" answer. I'm happy to build e85 maps for those wanting ethanol and gas tunes and may or may not result in a discount if and when a flex fuel kit is available. It is a fair amount less work when both maps are already built since we are then just blending the two maps together. I know DT should be releasing thier kit soon as well which is an in terms option and has been discussed . They are capable and it does the job but no where near the refinement of a complete tuning suite like Cobbs offering.
