  1. great to hear you got it figured out, based on how lean it was going I was going to suggest the same thing. Dave
  2. Even though I dont post as much since we are super busy these days at the shop and etuning we still love the LGT.com community and have such pride in what this community was able to do for us. You guys are awesome and always happy when an etune customer mentions a post from here or says they heard about us from one of our writeups on this site.. Thanks you guys! Dave

  12. Hey there, I have had tons of issues over the years with modified sidefeeds and about 4 years ago stopped selling them/installing them and prefer not to tune them due to them being fine...till they are not. I had a few sets fail on personal cars on 91 or e85 so its hit or miss. Some customers have good luck but I would say on average 70% end up with issues if ran for more than a couple years. Plus atomization at low rpm is terrible. Cleaned and modified ones seem to last even less time honestly. I personally would recommend top feed to just about anyone as they just work, and work for the long haul. Just my opinion. Dave
  13. We would suggest keeping the cat for legal and a little less likely to overboost reasons. We have had much better luck dialing in cars when the cars are catted, with a little more restrictive muffler *ie stock or not strait through design* It can still require porting of the wg but there are no gains from catless and a ton of reasons not to go with them. Hope that helps. Dave
  14. I know this is a late response to your question since we already talked but for anyone else needing the info, I dont suggest aftermarket sidefeeds due to the failure rate we have seen over time. Top feed is expensive but the right way to go when upgrading on an 05/06 Dave
  15. did you double check the #4 coil pack connector on the vehicle side? They get old and brittle and dont like make solid connection sometimes under heavy demand/load/gforce. You can zip tie it with some good old dielectric grease just to test but make sure the pins are not bent as well etc. What plus are in there now? If its back firing through the intake thats not a great sign, did the problem just start? a lot of times that can indicate a cyl is getting incorrect timing and firing when an intake valve is partially open or 180 out of order. Dave
  16. https://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/intake-vacuum-leaks-and-you-pics-inside-235626.html The learning view you posted is not horrible and still within spec according to subaru but it depends on how long its been since an ecu reset as well. use the link above to look for common areas for leaks but most times when the ecu is pulling fuel *negative numbers* it will be post turbo to pre throttle body, dirty sensors or just trims floating around. Dave
  17. We actually do not tune catless at all so please do not put a catless pipe on regardless of local emissions laws as it breaks federal law and you dont want to be stuck in that position. Its almost impossible to diagnose something like that when we dont know the settings its currently running on but honestly I it takes a lot to make the car not want to run and want to stall etc. I would check the simple things as well and make sure the IC to Throttle body hose is connected and not sliding off etc. It appears your long term fuel trim is at 11 but that log is not very useful due to whats being logged. You can shoot me an email and we can lightly discuss but I really would make sure you get ahold of the tuner and find out his thoughts as well. Thanks! Dave
  18. odd this came up about the fpcm as I have a customer that we just did the other day that is seeing pressure drop off with a brand new adjustable fpr, fuel pump, seals etc so this is the next mod is to hardwire the pump as I bet its dropping voltage. Thankfully the COBB Fuel pressure compensation is adding about 10% now and was at about 15% at a little over 20psi on E so our AFRS still tracked as if nothing was wrong....till we looked at comp.

  24. its a little more complicated than that but basically its retarding the timing on decel to the point of causing "pops and bangs" that can result from light burble to full blown gunshots, blowing out muffler packing and flames....Some people think its awesome, I am not a huge fan due to the long term effects and the fact that most people that have it use it for a week and then realize its not a great option. I tuned cars for years trying to make them not back fire, now I get asked once a week if not more to promote it lol. I do NOT offer it on the subaru platform, even if people are willing to pay extra. Dave
