EaglesPDX
I dispute your assertion of "all." For ordinary street use, maybe. Such as this discussion. No reason for a dual exhaust on Subaru's, it's added for appearance. And it looks nice, gives the car a more symmetrical appearance especially with the cutout so obvious on the single exhaust model. ammcinnis
No reason for a dual exhaust on Subaru's ... Your original assertion was "all dual exhausts" ... not limited to street-driven Subaru Legacys. SBT
Also the stock muffler to mid pipe uses a circle O ring style gasket so the stock flanges are made to adapt that type of gasket. The nameless exhaust uses a standard 2 bolt gasket. Using the donut (circle O ring) gasket on the cat-side, which should be ~2.5", and then placing the mouth of the Nameless flat-flange over the donut gasket should enable you to get a good, leak-free fit. Several have used this approach when dealing with flat-flange to donut-flange connections on our Subarus. - Pro amore Dei et patriam et populum -
jyjellu
So I would like to start off by saying I don't care about anyone's argument about duel exhaust, its my car and i do what i want to it, i don't care what you think or about your two cents. I do what I do and i don't mind helping like mined people do the same thing. So if your against duel exhaust just back out of this thread now, if your are into the idea and have been following my post here's some info. The Nameless tips don't work (very well) with the stock 2.5 exhaust on my 2015. the gaskets are different and the flange bolts don't line up. Since I've got a fifth gen 3.6 mid pipe things are looking up. took off my stock mid pipe today and installed the 3.6 with zero issue. Flanges matched up perfect, hangers all match and the nameless axle backs work as intended with the 3.6 exhaust. the 3.6 mid pipe from the resonator back is a bigger pipe but no fitment issues. another good find i found was on the passenger side where there are not hangers welded in, it is easy to see where they go because there is metal that is formed for them (see picture) Until I get the hangers and weld them in I'm going to make a block off for the passenger side exhaust for now once i'm done with the block off I will give it to whomever for free if they would like to do the same set up as I. GTEASER
Nice work jyjellu!!! Glad you got some good results. It looks like the Nameless tips need to be extended outward by an inch or two to be more flush with the rear bumper valance. I will have to cut off the hanger on the axle back then add the 2 1/8" and weld the hanger back on Very informative. It's your Legacy and it's great your making it your own. CT2015Legacy
Wow that kinda sucks that the mufflers aren't flush with the rear valance. Hopefully when I get mine I don't run into that issue but looks like I more than likely will. We shall see; still waiting on and update on the build process of my exhaust I ordered. CT2015Legacy
Well I tested out the Nameless Axleback and the flanges are about 1/2 inch short where the bold location is http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/15/03/17/1e37ffa0045f3367aac2219c80eb1251.jpg I've reached out to Nameless but haven't gotten any response as of yet. CT2015Legacy
Spoke to Nameless today and looks like the outgoing models Axleback will not fit out cars. They will be eventually developing something/making adjustments as they have a vehicle available however they weren't able to tell me when. I should here back tomorrow and will try to get more info which I will share with everyone. jyjellu
cut the tip off, added about 7 inches to to each pipe, welded the tip and bracket back on. used 1/2" rod from Nameless to weld to the body. The tips stick out to the furthers point on the bumper (the body line)

Only reason I ask is because the current systems for previous generations don't fit the 3.6 (I tried and the flanges are to small to thread the bolts).
