STi Boy
It really is as simple as it sounds. A few pop-its from underneath, a bolt here and there and everything is off and the bumper is dropped. If you have any questions, shoot me a PM. how many pop-its are underneath the bumper? i took a look down there and notice there were a few holes without any pop-its..is that...normal? Yeah that is normal, I would have to look underneath for sure. It is quite a few, I would guess probably 6-8 underneath to drop the bumber. Holes without pop-its is normal, don't worry. Gator GT
Good grief! I just did my first headlight baking this past weekend and just wrapped up tonight with the reassemble bake (yes, all weekend.....paint to match car, grinding and filling bezel, adding a set of 194 lights, etc) ....I hate putting these things together again..ugh. Putting a factory sunroof in a Jeep with a solid roof was easier and more fun! Pics to follow....yes, on the lights, not the sunroof install Here are some pics: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v628/g8rauctioner/Subaru/RHlamp02.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v628/g8rauctioner/Subaru/LHlampnoillumcamflash01.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v628/g8rauctioner/Subaru/efrontshotPFogon03.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v628/g8rauctioner/Subaru/efrontshotPLoFogon01.jpg "If we are to guard against ignorance and remain free, it is the responsibility of every American to be informed." - T. Guest Gitster
Your doing it right, keep going. I sprayed it on too thick to begin with and it didnt dry right, it peeled when I removed the tape, be careful to score it with a knife before you remove the tape. tangcla
The Australian model comes standard with black headlights and clear side indicators... just deciding whether it's worthwhile to do the indicator side black as well...

tangcla
Looks like a lot of effort for a little bit of gain, doesn't it? I'll have a look at it when I get the chance - it definitely looks hotter done though!

drewvdubber
did this mod on friday. super easy mod. im from the vw scene so i am familiar with the process as many do this. the suby lights are very easy to take a part and go back together very easy. surprised how much i had to take off the front to get the lights out. intake is being shipped as we speak. looking forward to that.
