Haha you guys are funny. You really should be careful what you laugh at, because it can make you look very, very dumb. This isn't a new thing, many other cars with less aftermarket availability do this (albeit, with some better clampage). Also, why? Because i enjoy throwing my car into a corner. It's a 2.5i, that's all i can get hahaha

Orly?

Throw your car into all the corners you want, and when something breaks and centrifugal force takes over......please post pictures of the carnage. ;)

"My friend said it was cool so it was cool"

Nice logic there, Captain Awesome.

So....enlighten me with your innovations Captain Derpshit. Tell me what you've done from scratch. Show ALL of us your groundbreaking research and have some kind of proof for it.

And that COSWORTH Escort is exponentially more bad ass than zip tying a second set of RSBs. Ibtl

Hey now, there are at least two bolts involved

Also, I feel like no one here is quite getting the fact that I understand this is hacky. It's mainly for fun, but shit, it works.

I have not been on here in months since i sold my lgt and i thank NRW for pointing this out to me. ^^^ you sir are infinitely smarter than all of us.

let me suggest another really use full mod! saving money for wheels with an aggressive offset is just stupid. Take your stock wheels and flip them around. It widens your wheel base some! Matched with your Dual RSB you could really own the twisties, responsibly of course!

In the spirit of this thread, ill take this literally and point out that throws off the scrub radius and will probably break out the bolt holes! Although back in the day hot rodders would filp around their old chrome steel wheels.

OP, the only thing you messed up on was posting it here...I have been running essentially the same setup for almost 3 years in the LGT and 5 years in my SVX, no joke. It works awesome once it is all adjusted and settled, I wanted the 25mm perrin but they DC it so I got an AVO RSB + bushings + endlinks and AVO RSB mounts then cut the ends off my stock one and cable tied it together at the ends. Initially I was going to test it for a couple months before posting, but figure it wasn't worth posting with the inevitable hassle by the members here, as you may be figuring out.

Any way, I have been quite happy with this setup, no problem in snow, in the dry it is exactly what I was looking for in roll reduction and the car corners with slight oversteer( pretty much the perfect amount IMO, it actually feels really confident and not in a dangerous way).

I would recommend the supporting mods though.

Ok, so other people with similar bouts of "engineering by theory"

Have you seen any track cars with this setup? The only real innovations as far as anti-roll bars are concerned are either solid or hydraulic setups. Not moar bars.
