I thought it did, but they have to meet the following criteria (that they sent me): - Vehicles should be the same year, make, model and trim. - Mileage must be within 100k miles of the loss vehicle. - Vehicles should be located within a reasonable distance from the loss location. - Comparable vehicles must be listed or sold within 90 days of the loss. - Ads must have verifiable information, such as a link or contact information as well as VIN#. - Comparable vehicles must be reflective of the used market. In other words vehicles that are listed much higher than the base value of the loss vehicle without any notable or significant differences will not be considered. Per the insurance agent, they consider a 2006 2.5i Sedan closer in value than a 2005 or 2007 GT Wagon (which I completely disagree with). So I need to find 2006 Legacys, GT and wagon are preferable because of the higher value.

The Cobb 20G looks like an STi style turbo, you probably need this hose from Grimmspeed to fit between that turbo and your TMIC. https://www.grimmspeed.com/tmic-sti-style-turbo-outlet-hose-08-14-wrx-05-09-lgt/

So arguing with insurance about the total loss value. The only comps they can find are base NA engine sedans and they are significantly lower in value than the GT wagons. I managed to find a few '05 and '07 GT wagons that have twice the list prices as the '06 sedans, but they are rejecting them as they aren't '06. I can't find a single '06 GT wagon for sale from a dealer in the country. Any ideas?

05 legacy gt stumble/hard on gas no codes

Most of us run LFR7AIX https://www.ngk.com/ngk-2309-lfr7aix-iridium-ix-spark-plug BKR7EIX could be an issue, as they seem to be much shorter in their picture compared to the LFR7AIX or the stock SILFR6A. -
Yesterday was both celebration and mourning... My oldest daughter was married and it was amazing, it's both hard and wonderful as a Dad. The mourning was the likely loss of two Subaru wagons. At 3 am last night someone rear-ended the '06 LGT and totaled it, but also pushed it into the back of my '99 Outback and probably totaled it as well. It was hit by a newer Silverado and the officer said it was probably totaled as well, he made it to the stop sign before the steering locked up on him and he couldn't get any further. I'm going to try to keep the blue LGT and part it, but we are now on the hunt for another 4th gen LGT wagon...

You need to do the "Other Media" -> "Image from URL" and then just paste the URL that ends in ".jpg" "https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/53412562495_0cfcd56157_h.jpg" I think just pasting the URL that ends in .jpg will also auto-embed for you. -

Why do you all keep your old Legacy around?

I'm at 235k+ on my '05 wagon. Where else am I going to get a 6-speed, turbo wagon, with stunning good looks that I can still work on? I've modernized a few things, adding upgrade audio, wireless charging, etc. As a complete package, she can't be beat (in my opinion). I'm not looking forward to another 10 years down the road when it's going to be much more difficult to keep her going and the crappy options I'll have to replace her with... -
turn key, no start, no click, nothing
Infosecdad replied to NSFW's topic in Fourth Generation Legacy (2005 - 2009)
When that happened to me, it was the starter on it's way out. The starter will start to develop "dead spots" where it doesn't do anything, if you keep trying or wack it with something, sometimes it's good and acts perfectly fine. The starter on my '99 is starting to do this, but it's about once a month right now, and eventually starts so I'm waiting on it... -

Quiet 3" exhaust? Do they exist?
Infosecdad replied to Tehnation's topic in Fourth Generation Legacy (2005 - 2009)
One thing to keep an eye on is that the mid-pipe might go to 3", but after the Y for the mufflers it's usually a pair of 2.25" or 2.5" pipes. Just depends on where the measurement is. You're right on the BORLA, it's 2.5" down to a pair of 2" -
Quiet 3" exhaust? Do they exist?
Infosecdad replied to Tehnation's topic in Fourth Generation Legacy (2005 - 2009)
Subaru Performance Tuning (SPT), it was an OEM option that is pretty quiet; I don't think they still make them. You would need to find a used catback. Depends on how you define "quiet". The STI Genome is pretty "quiet" compared to most of the HKS options, and definitely quieter than Inivida or Nameless -
Turbo Oil Return Line
Infosecdad replied to dwmccauley01's topic in Fourth Generation Legacy (2005 - 2009)
I tried heater hose once, had to replace it a few months later when it started leaking because the oil was eating it up. I would only go with OEM or oil resistant hose, it's not something I would want to return to fix again. -

Looking it up on parts.subaru.com https://parts.subaru.com/p/Subaru_2005_Outback-25L-TURBO-5AT-GTOBKXT-WAGON/CV-Axle-Drive-Shaft-26-Front/49238068/28321AG00C.html https://parts.subaru.com/p/Subaru_2005_Outback-25L-TURBO-5AT-GTOBKXT-WAGON/CV-Axle-Drive-Shaft-R-Rear/49238379/28421AG02B.html Looks like the LGT and OBXT are the same from what I'm looking at. 28321AG00C is the front 28421AG02B is the rear -
Congratulations! I can see the pics, so not sure what's happening there.
