  1. One thing to keep an eye on is that the mid-pipe might go to 3", but after the Y for the mufflers it's usually a pair of 2.25" or 2.5" pipes. Just depends on where the measurement is. You're right on the BORLA, it's 2.5" down to a pair of 2"
  2. Subaru Performance Tuning (SPT), it was an OEM option that is pretty quiet; I don't think they still make them. You would need to find a used catback. Depends on how you define "quiet". The STI Genome is pretty "quiet" compared to most of the HKS options, and definitely quieter than Inivida or Nameless
  3. I tried heater hose once, had to replace it a few months later when it started leaking because the oil was eating it up. I would only go with OEM or oil resistant hose, it's not something I would want to return to fix again.
  4. Are the turn signal bulbs replaced with LEDs? Sometimes that will cause issues depending on the LEDs.
  5. Looking it up on parts.subaru.com https://parts.subaru.com/p/Subaru_2005_Outback-25L-TURBO-5AT-GTOBKXT-WAGON/CV-Axle-Drive-Shaft-26-Front/49238068/28321AG00C.html https://parts.subaru.com/p/Subaru_2005_Outback-25L-TURBO-5AT-GTOBKXT-WAGON/CV-Axle-Drive-Shaft-R-Rear/49238379/28421AG02B.html Looks like the LGT and OBXT are the same from what I'm looking at. 28321AG00C is the front 28421AG02B is the rear
  6. Congratulations! I can see the pics, so not sure what's happening there.
  7. This is the first time I've seen black uppers w/ airbag... https://buyee.jp/item/yahoo/auction/r1109126996
  8. Last time I did it, it was with the engine out. I've changed plugs so many times I can do it from the top or from underneath, I have a system with socket, short extension, and a ratcheting wrench w/ socket stub insert so it's really thin. In and out one piece at a time, and turning with fingers as much as possible due to the tight space.
  9. Looking back at receipts, it looks like 4 years and about 45k miles. NGK LFR7AIX They might not have needed it quite yet, but I was starting to get a *slight* hesitation and the rare misfire. For my setup, that was a change in behavior, so I figured it was about time. The plugs were tired but clean.
  10. Put the white wagon up on quickjacks; changed the oil, changed the spark plugs, and she was good to go. About 90 min total (over last night and this morning). Plugs were about 3 years old, still looked decent but aged.
  11. I fixed a few of them for you. This forum software doesn't like the img link, if you edit and choose "media from URL" from the bottom, you can paste the actual URL image link and that should work. Nice snag for a Baja, especially for the price.
  12. 100% this. My oldest is getting married in a couple months... I'm not ready for my little girl to be married.
  13. OEM OCVs or aftermarket? I've seen aftermarket never really work right. If they are OEMs, then I would be really surprised if they were it. Aftermarket shouldn't be ruled out.
  14. OCVs are notorious for partially failing without codes. I have standard silicon hoses, been fine for 40k miles (might be due to replace, but they have been good so far). Could be intake gaskets (maybe), do you have the newer ones? I'm curious about what the MAF values are as well. Misfires are more about something is not in line with expectations, rather than something broke.
  15. GWLS! If I was closer to you, I would probably pick it up; can't imagine it will be available for too long at that price.
  16. I love the EDM center console, but the change tray was annoying me and I didn't want to mount the wireless magnetic charger back on the vent. So I went to the Engineering department and 3D scanned the change tray, then went through several iterations in Fusion360 to fit the wireless magnetic charger I have (plus a 90-degree USB-C adapter). I love the end result and now have a built-in wireless charger that's not too far from factory-looking.
  17. I just used a rubber cap with a ziptie and replace it annually before it breaks down and leaks.
  18. If only I had the time... I would be on the road to pick it up.
  19. I think I'm going try to model and 3D print a piece to adapt that wireless charger into that little tray space, but almost flat w/ a 90 degree cable. Pulling my 18yo car kicking into the current century...
