  1. Some of the plugs that come off of it are different, and its too short. As I remember its not even close to being the same. The STI FPCM has a short pigtail harness, LGT doesn't etc etc etc If you purchase it you will see what I am saying but its just been too long ago to remember all the details I bought it and robbed pins
  2. Just remember your AFRs and injector duty cycle will change once you do it.
  3. Did you ever rewire the fuel pump? 2 big threads on the forum about it and I was one of the ones to discover the undersized wiring feeding the fuel pumps on the legacy.
  4. Dang I love this car! I need a front bumper like this that will go on an outback with a FMIC!
  5. Id love to do the front bumper to my outback but no way I am getting rid of my FMIC or bumper beam....LOL
  6. Posted here for valley.... http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/jdm-outback-bumper-install-69935.html?t=69935
  7. Luckily I had that one done before my protune
  8. I believe so. Like it was too sensitive or something. Not sure. I think there is something about it in one of the threads on cruise light or something
  9. Actually there was a TSB if I remember correctly to fix the NSS. It was a re flash to the ECU. I had the problem of it flickering on and off but was protuned so I never messed with the reflash. I did the more thin copper washer trick
  10. Actually it's not much stuff at all. With that said you can just drop it with coils or springs like most do and it does fine.
  11. You have the upper rear arms in yours? Yea I am selling the mount. I actually stuck it in a thread that Kaos22 started as he was selling one. It may already be sold but if not Ill let you know.....
  12. Ok well I just purchased aluminum suspension pieces off the forum to use when I remove the spacers. couldn't pass the deal up. Anyone put the spec b pieces on an outback xt? I purchased all the aluminum spec b pieces and the whiteline stuff in this pic.... Im not going to use the whiteline ball joint and tie rod kit as it is for really lowered cars and I will be at pretty much stock LGT height 14.5-15in center cap to flare. Also not using rear diff mount, as I already have one with my 6 speed swap. http://legacygt.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=168021&d=1384739298
  13. Just want to give kudos to Myles and RaceComp....... I recently purchased a used set of RCE Tarmac 1's from Kaos, the original owner on this forum. One of the dust shields was broken in shipment so I contacted Myles. He sent me a new one, no charge, no shipping nothing. Couldn't ask for better customer service and when mine need rebuilt, probably next year or so, I will be contacting him for the rebuilds. Thanks Myles, Top notch customer service even when not the original owner. I really appreciated you sending that out!
  14. Guys I have two legacy GT upper control arms that I am going to sell if anyone wants them. I purchased some spec b bits this week so don't need the legacy GT ones. I just had them sandblasted so they are ready for paint or powder coat. I also have a set of BC/BR coil overs I am going to sell. They have outback cartridges but really need new cartridges so you could go with the legacy or outback cartridge if you so choose. Josh Nahum at import image sells the cartridges. PM me if any interest.
  15. I think the scoop plastic and foam on the underside of the hood is a bit longer from the hood to the engine cover. I know for sure that the engine cover is the same If anyone has an LGT one they could take a picture of I could take a picture of the outback XT one. I actually took mine off the hood a few weeks ago, because I have a FMIC and the plastic was rubbing the turbo outlet.
  16. I also noticed that the outback under tray has spacers and bolts that are a bit different holding it on. Not a problem going from outback to legacy but if you are taking a legacy GT to outback suspension you need the spacers and the bolts for the under tray. The outback motor sits 1 inch lower so the tray is spaced downward as well.
  17. I did that for a while, then bought the spec B piece and sold my old one on the forum. Difference wasn't too much and too me worth it.
  18. Just bought one NICE ONE Turkeylord! Was messing with my intercooler piping this weekend, while installing my new Koyo Aluminum radiator and found all three lines half way off that stupid blue T. Blue T Doesn't like 25PSI!
  19. I ordered the surround which came with the boot (pleather) and the ashtray bits. With that being said I then swapped out the cheapo spec b boot with a redline boot. I also swapped over the ashtray bits from my outback as it had a lighted ashtray and a real cigarette lighter. The spec b lighter socket was a dummy plug and non lighted ashtray. Spec B is a more expensive car but the Outback XT had some way more nice features You could probably just buy the surround and swap your stuff over if in fact they will sell it to you that way.
