  1. I have an older map from 4 years ago from Snail as well. But the turbo was different and had the EGT DTC delete. Going to leave a message for him to call me. Hopefully he has a few min to yack.
  2. Yeah I have some where it’s off the rails. From this mornings test drive. will post later. forgot to mention the off the shelf and snail baseline tune were far worse. OTS LOADS DAM AT.5??? pushing is making me nervous. But what’s interesting is I do get less fbk and fkl when keeping in 4th on the freeway. this is only creeping up while at speed and minimal throttle input. So tune is looking likely.
  3. Well not seeming to be the gas. Drove for three hours last night. DAM swung all over but settled back just before fuel up. Thought it was all good then back to .875. Did notice AF learning 1a is now adding fuel. Up to 10. Earlier this week it was -7 ish max. Very odd. prepping to run this fuel out to the truck and put the pump in… cleaned the maf sensor again before last nights drive in addition to checking if I can hear the injectors pulse.. so since it’s intermittent and have the pump we’ll go there. Not holding my breath. Regulator next/Pull injectors for eval and cleaning if the pump is not a fix.
  4. Yes. Stock DP. Only items I've changed after tune was cleaning the MAF and placing the stock mufflers back on.
  5. Running the tune Snail just setup after I had 500 miles on the new SB.
  6. Stock DP and Exhaust. Had the Nameless Mufflers on while tuning but swapped the stockers back on after.
  7. Yeah 52' above sea level. Tuner location is 1227'.
  8. No much really pretty stock. JMP VF40 turbo, Killer B pan and pickup, Gutted Up Pipe/Resistor mod, new +1 oversize valves in the heads in a refreshed SB with Weisco Forged Pistons. IC is the second unit and has been bar clamped. BOV, MAF and Two Port boost controller have been on this for a while but have been replaced over the life of the car. Crank sensor was replaced last rebuild. Cam sensors were replaced before that rebuild. There is a DW65C in the tank and I did refresh both housing (f new prefilter) and sock filter when putting that one in. I have a new sock filter and pump in hand. DAM is always 1 after a reset, trying my best not to. Then it feels fine for quite a while. Then back to garbage. Now I'm trying to not reset it and curious if the monitors coming back is when things start going nuts.
  9. Yeah. Just loaded the Stage 1 OTS ACN91, stage 0 and Valet maps to the AP. I'm going to see if fueling is similar on the high gear small throttle inputs at speed where this thing is seeming to falter. One item I noticed last night was the monitors were not complete before heading over to a friends house. On the drive back DAM dipped to .625 and back to 1 once I parked it. Will check again later if they are done. Still trying to burn out this tank of fuel. Not going to beat on it until I figure out where it's gone sour.
  10. Ok I'll take a look. Thanks for the over the shoulder assist. Much appreciated.
  11. Load (g/rev) is on column H. Interesting to see closed loop turning on and off during the while the knock events are happening. Had to pour over it a little to see what your talking about the boost target. Odd. Going to still burn this tank down and get some fresh in her ASAP.
  12. Cool... This new forum SW will take a .csv... Killer.
  13. Looks like D is not an option for me... Probably due to the 5EAT. Cobb is not allowing disable cause of their green initiative. Just returned and logged the drive. Hit 100% throttle and it's only knocking at lower speeds with little throttle input. See if I can upload this as a .txt and convert it back to .csv, datalog2.csv
  14. No I dont think so: Only thing I can do is log. Plus I can't see whats happening with AP Tuner cause the map is locked with a pass code. Going to go drop a package at FedEx in a moment and will just drive in sport and see how it behaves while logging. Hopefully I can pull this log and see what's going on. My laptop may block the AP manager access since our USB are blocked to devices with storage options. Thumb drives mainly... But will try. It's a company policy now. YAY!
  15. Ran ok if I didn't dog it around town last night. Drove in Manual mostly and no dip in DAM yet. Will drive this gas out some more before bugging the tuner. Two things I have changed on him are. 1) cleaned the MAF after the tune. 2) put the stock mufflers back on, had Nameless mufflers on during tune. Once this fuel is out of the systems well see if it settles down before the next major move.
  16. Biggest bank for your buck is anti sway bars and rear sway support. Refresh as many of the bushings you can afford. Tires are your contact point so this is very important not to skimp. Over all you want to keep the body roll to a minimum upgrade those anti sway bars.
  17. Search for vacation pics and you will find a link to manuals. If I remember correct the starter is one bolt and one nutted stud. As for the hoses one is the AC dripline and the other two are vents as other have said. Both are as they should be. Open.
  18. Feel the pinch as well. KB has some different baffling, good luck. I get it they are not cheap. Nowhere near stage 3 and Having a hell of a time with my last rebuild. Hoping it's just a bad gas station but well see after we limp this fuel clear for a fresh refill.
  19. Was this motor ever pulled apart before? Crossover bolts has a low torque spec. I have reefed them in the past forcing to heli coil three of the four, over time they lifted, pulled threads and started leaking coolant... Had to take the intake off for repair of course. Not a fun procedure.
  20. Check first thing before first start of the day. If memory serves it's 4.7 qt after filter change with the stock pan. After changing to the Killer B pan it's just under 6 qt for full dipstick reading cool. Pulling the fill cap and leaving the stick out for a few min are solid suggestions for a clean reading. You'll notice as the pic Max shows the angle is terrible. I notice a little more on the back of the stick.
  21. Common answer about the pan has been they can hide debris even after several attempts to clean. May be best to replace to save future frustration with the new parts.
  22. At this point I'm just a wee bit frustrated and running out of ideas. Looking like fueling issue of some sort??? Had a half tank of gas. Filled it up at Chevron with some injector cleaner. Still getting knock at low throttle input driving. Always in the lower 15% input. I pulled the IC off while doing an OC to see if there are any issues. Nope. 3K on this motor now. So at this point I'm going to order another MAF. Need some Ball Joints anyway. The Movetech LCA make a lot of noise after heat soak so not sure if this is translating to knock, possible, new bushings I have in hand. Will be talking to a shop to press these in place today. Will also see if they have a scanner we can use to drive test and see if injectors are not firing correct. Will also be sending a log to Snail to see if he see's anything he can adjust. For now burn out the rest of this tank. Fill back to half for a comparison and if no love after replace this pump.
  23. Last I looked they were in sync. Both are new. You're on the same page with me, fuel trims are in line, vac leak is doubtful. So there has to be another fault. New coils show up Saturday. Well know more soon. Will also confirm the plugs didn't loosen up, those were new too.
