Up soon - CNT catted downpipe. Reason for swap: GrimmSpeed catted downpipe with a better-for-environment/OBDII compliant catalytic converter.
I should get the new pipe within a week and be able to sell after that. Pics will be available once I pull it.
I finally got my hands on a GS catted downpipe. I have curbed half of my desires for now...
I'm glad to see GrimmSpeed taking their time to do this right because I'm tired of mass-produced, poorly-designed crap.
A legal cat won't stink at all because it does its job. The CNT is not a legal cat, nor is it intended to be a legal replacement.
The Grimmspeed is not "CARB stamped", but is OBDII compliant and intended to be a 49-state legal replacement.
When it's ready to come off for sure, I'll take pics of it. I will likely be asking around $150 picked up for it. $175 if I have to drive to deliver. Details will come when I get word of the Grimmspeed availability. Reason for selling: I want a better catalytic converter (read: pass OBD2 emission levels) on my car.
Is anyone interested in a CNT catted downpipe? I'd be interested in selling it once I can get my hands on a new Grimmspeed catted unit.
FS post will of course come up at that time.
Is it broken at the carrier bearing? Just curious. If I was making some form of plastic injection molding machine, I might be interested (read: not interested). As of right now, I am at least a year from that project
$100 is a great deal for a used Invidia.
I also found out about the Grimmspeed catted downpipe after posting the above. It has a 49-state legal catalytic converter and is priced to move. I'll be picking one up when I can get one (Mike said they sold way more than they anticipated and have 4-6 weeks of welding on the group buy).
