  2. Certified AC tech here, residential and commercial not auto though. You really need to be vacuuming the system before you recharge it to be honest. What you can do is add a little charge then reslese some from the bleeder port in an attempt to purge some air. The best thing to do would be install all the new parts , charge with nitrogen , leak check then vacuum and fill with fresh coolant , as well as mentioned earlier adding the appropriate oil to the compressor.   3. Just had this happen after I had my clutch and tranny swap done , would die out at idek , with throttle it it was fine Took it back to the shop right away. They used scan tool to do a throttle body re learn and it it fixed it. They said I probably should do plugs as well but sometimes after pulling the battery it's need to do a relearn especially if you have a less ideal idle to begin with that the ECU has learned to deal with Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk
  4. I read so many threads , looked at a bunch of products and I'm more confused than when I started. Sorry know this is a common mod but the more I read the more I'm unsure. It's also the fist thing I need to do in order of reassembly for my mods and I want to get it right. 05 legacy gt is what I'm working on. What is needed to do a tip feed converversion ? Do I need/want to do the the parrelel line conversion wile I'm at it. Are these flow dampers needed and I'm confused. What is the difference between top feed " conversion rails" and regular rails. I noticed some tvg deletes said they will not work with conversion rails. Can I use any top feed tvg if I plan to redo my files lines. Is there just a kit I can buy ? Any used car with that many miles is a huge gamble , tranny swap with labor and clutch and flywheel costing me just under 2k, quotes 10k for long block and head job, got a nice used turbo for 450 ....if you don't need the car and 9 to 15k didn't scare you do it Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk

I have fuel rail, injectors , and lines ( rubber) I did a full AN setup on my last tuner car and I'm trying to pretend I'm not going to go that far this time, but I will probably get FPR then I will need an adapter at the very least and it's a slippery slope towards ....because racecar, lol Am getting the aem drop in pump for sure though , need it for the corn juice Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk

  15. All I really " need" now is a downpipe to complete my build. Many thanks to everyone so far. Some one has to have a downpipe laying around, car is going into Arc flash of bend for tranny swap and new clutch and flywheel on the 5th may have them do turbo install and tune wile there if I can dig up a down pipe Help complete the dream of the used forums parts build.   16. I have looked threw some threads and they all very dated and most the products are out of production. Looking for , oil pressure and temp, water temp, boost and wide band afr. I want to go ahead and do the turbo oil feed mod wile I'm at it but the links for the sandwich plate needed are dead. Was hoping for a sandwich plate with 3 ports and oil gauges with senders that would fit it. When it comes to boost that's pretty straightforward but still would like suggestions. Now the afr ....I see the downpipes with the extra bung but is right after the turbo !??!! Thoughts on this as a viable location. I plan to change out my fuel pump as well as run corn juice and I would really like an accurate reading here to que me on o-ring failure's as well as any other lean conditions.
