To be totally honest I never had the stock box on the car ...came with this, bpv sounds where present but not obnoxious at sounded really good in my opinion, definitely a suction sound under hard throttle, no drone or real noise crusing or on the hiway . I like a bit of both sounds and thought it was perfect for mild taste. My new set up it a Cobb, and 50/50 bypass Valve and is much louder ....I like it. Started my build today... Nameless axles back 5 inch mufflers. Fitment was excellent , welds buttery, arrived in 4 days after I ordered it amazing experience. I have stock dp, stock mid and y pipe , it's honestly pretty quiet was hoping for more rumble. Hopefully the new downpipe livens it hoping I don't wish I just got the deletes. U did Pest control for over a decade, put bundles of dryer sheets zip ties places under the bay and under the seats....and can do an open tin or container of some kind with chips of Irish spring soap, rodents do not car for heavy smells like that, if it keeps out pack rats mice are no problem, can also go the extra pile and spray some mint oil dilutes with water around the car and on the undercarriage Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk

Admittedly I left a few things off the list but cheapest quote I got for oem short block was 6.5k hell just the Cobb access port is 650, it adds up so quick but ya a nice complete build would ring at least 10k best I can tell, clutch and flywheel another 850 just in parts , I did used parts , new clutch and flywheel , new Cobb access port and intake, used turbo, used fueling and uppipe , new down pipe and I'm at ok 4k or so already Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk

Oem short block, head work jmp vf52, fueling ,downpipe, uppipe, intake, e85 kit, clutch, good buy 10k easily you will hit 300 probably but should be reasonably realiable. Unless you you the work yourself motor install included this is going to cost you absolute minimum 6.5k and that's just doing short block and head work......10k will get you a fun car and it will probably cast you more before it's over Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk

Legacy gt cheaper stock, wrx or sti will be faster, legacy gt with mods cheapest and fastest ....probably but also it's a sports sedan wrx or sti is going to be sportier in the handling department. Either way a budget legacy gt or wrx is going to have some miles.....I got my legacy from my mom for cheap because it needed work and they where frustrated with it. If I was starting from scratch I would buy a wrx or sti with a blown motor for cheap and have a new long block out it. Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk
