  1. Had some similar problems as described above car not wanting to go into gear cold. New slave cylinder has got it working ok but in the process my mechanic discovered I have the transmission from a non turbo outback in my car ( ouch) not interested in dumping more money in the current miss match set up but I'm having a very tough time finding a replacement. Anyone have a proper one they would be willing to sell ? Are any of these jdm ones a proper replacement ? What do I look for in terms of listing and model number ? Any suggestions on where to source.   2. Ya last project car was 01 Audi TT quattro, everything was tight space weird bolts and a nightmare. That's good to hear just seeing how easy the turbo and downpipe was on these was refreshing Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk
  3. Audi TT 1.8 turbo was my last, it wasn't cheap lol, some things you could get by on, mostly silicone, . I actually had a cxracing front mount intercooler on it though lol. Motor mounts, fuel system, exhaust, turbo extera all where pricey, lots of 42 draft design parts. Was just quoted 6500 for OEM long block and Valve job, not terrible. Thinking I will do the grimspeed , down and up pipe and the vf52 and see how she does. O and got to have the meth and e85 don't think I could live without it. My lgt was actually my mom's and has higher miles so full expecting the motor rebuild even though it's stock and was owned by a kid Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk

Going to pull by bumper new weekend and I came across this. https://www.cxracing.com/KIT-LEGACY-B4-IC0036-L Plan on doing a vf52 in the near future and was probably going to do the grim speed tmic, but if this will perform at least as well think I will go this route because it sure is warm under the hood.   9. Where do I get OEM springs ? I ended up just doing kyb and the original springs. Really liking it compared to blown struts lol Now that I have original struts out think I will start collecting parts for the future koni converversion, thinking white line top mounts and original springs, wanted to keep the stuck height for back county and Forrest service roads Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk
  10. Front struts and mounts I went with the OEM kyb's after much back and fourth , them being in stock at the local parts house was a factor. I knew my old one where blown but o man what a difference. I'm actually glad I went this rount it's got that pillowy smooth ride I had heard described. Going to keep her full sleeper status I decided and honestly no real track use or need for tighter handling when I started thinking about it. End goal is a comfy that is faster than it should be. Going to cross post this but I tore my driver side outer CV boot and I for the life of me can't find a dyi on replacement, only inner or completely replacement, any help appreciated.   12. So it was time to do struts and shocks long before I got this car..... How badly do the OEM springs wear, will I be ok with just new struts and mounts . Side note to that is I need to do springs also has your guys luck been with used jdm spec B's and the pink sti springs ? My other option is new kybs and h&r springs the cost are about the same.   14. Crazy they have AWD Dyno also , they must not need new business because they are very low profile when it it comes to signage and google SEO. I didn't really want to be tied to cobb but with a local turner like that might as well. Just chasing all the things I had on my 1.8t , anti lag, nls , 2 step , and most of all e85.   17. Y Avery much so sadly, pretty sure allwheeels driven is gone to sadly as that's my town. Remote tuning would be just fine just try to avoid Cobb and want the cat deleted and every is scared to publicly state the do that so don't know where to start Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk
