No offense, but that looks like a total piece. In fact, it looks even worse than the 92 G20 I bought for my brother when he needed a car after totaling his 92 Legacy (which, BTW, was in great condition -- 16 years old, but only 45k, and garage kept for the first ~13 years -- it's too bad he totaled it). I paid $700 for the G20 in Taunton, MA, and it probably wasn't worth that. Ended up selling it a year later for $850, but only after putting in hundreds of dollars of work (probably at least the purchase price again just in parts, not including takeoffs from my G20 that were obviously free).

His G20:

His 92 Legacy (with my 92 G20 in the garage in the background during the first engine swap):

It may look like it, but it was essentially my first car. I only had the Volvo for the months and then had to buy the Sentra. I was 16, saved all the money myself and bought it for 1600 bucks in 2005. It was a California car for the first nine years of its life and was well maintained with 78k on the clock. It then proceeded to never break down on me in six years, and I sold it for 900 last year around this time with 130K. It was a fantastic car, and I still regret selling it a little every now and then.

I hope that's sarcasm

Why? It really was a great car. You have to put it in the perspective of that time frame. Can you tell me a better or quicker 4-door sport sedan from '89-'93? Outside of a much more expensive BMW M series or Mercedes? The car had some awesome seats with side support that you could adjust, nice interior, the engine was phenomenal and very smooth (even by today's standards), and it looked sharp. Had I had the manual it would have been even better...0-60 in 6.5s and a high 14 1/4 mile was very respectable in '89-'93. A 5.0 Mustang of that time could not take me on a highway roll from 70 on. Off the line with the auto, if the 5.0 was stick, it would pull ahead. Had I had the manual, it would have been tight, and the SHO was a highway monster that kept pulling. A manual SHO wailed on me on a highway roll.

It was not as reliable which sucked, but as I said, when it was running right it was great. Much more fun and better to drive than say an Accord or Camry of that era, and the Subarus of that time were not the Subarus of today as far as fun to drive goes.

No such thing as a SHO running right as far as I'm concerned lol

Maybe I'm bitter because the one I owned needed a major repair every other week of the 6months I owned it.

LOL, the key word WHEN! Ha ha, it seemed to always need something. Every time a check engine light came on it was $500! I owned it from 22k to 91k and I had extended warranties. Definitely drove me nuts with all the issues.

I've owned the LGT since Memorial Day and did a bunch of stuff to it maintenance wise, gonna square away couple of suspension bits, and hopefully it's as good as the Maxima was in reliability. Want to keep it for a while.

The significant cars:

1993 Nissan Maxima (many mechanical upgrades, no rice)

Now rocking the 2006 LGT

There have been about 10 other cars that have come and gone from my fleet:

High school cars:

Shitty, super-cheap winter beaters in college:

Purchase prices for these four vehicles total to a little over a grand.

All Legacy's:

1991 L Wagon (2001), inherited from Mom when she bought an 03 Forester.

2000 LGT Limited (2003), full of neon/LEDs (don't judge me)

2006 LGT Limited (2008), full of stage 2 and in desperate need of suspension.

I also have two sport bikes, a 2002 Honda F4i (since 2005) and 2007 Kawasaki ZX-10 (since 2010).
