  1. Heyyyyy youuuu guyssss... Just stopping by to say that after 14k miles, I still absolutely LOVE my BNRevo16g! And, I still make the WRX/STI guys angry when I totally stomp on them in my 5EAT family wagon. Sleeper FTW. So yeah.
  2. I tell people about the BP kit every chance that I get :-) I've been at like 19 psi for 6 months now and have not had a single problem. Thanks again Seeya and BMB
  3. Damn, that filter seems huge compared to the SS disk filter. Like 5 times more filtering area? Sweet. I still need to check my banjo fitting.
  4. Crap, I still need to do/send you that checkup log. The Newborn has been top priority, lol.
  5. Just threw my OEM CP on the postal scale and it reads 90.5oz/5.658lbs
  6. This is actually the first time I've been in the general chat sub forum, and this Parenthood thread was right at the top. It's kind of a funny coinscidence because my daughter was just born this past Monday morning :-) so I can officially post here, lol. Well it's been going great so far, I can believe how the instinct just kicks in like that. I'm still pretty emotional though, so thinking I'll change the oil on the LGT this week, hahaha. The lack of sleep has been fine for me so far as I always have a lack of sleep anyways, 5-6 hours pretty much. Momma and I have already learned to get our naps in when baby does. Baby has been doing that alot this first week, thankfully. Anyways, enough about that, check this out. I'm gonna order one for her on Monday. Found it on cafepress.com http://i476.photobucket.com/albums/rr126/mikabuc/gt_2012_baby_hat_zps34d8c30f.jpg
  7. http://subaruonlineparts.com/oemparts/01041020A This is for the transmission-to-up pipe bracket bolts. I used these in place of the OEM studs to bolt my turbo to the uppipe.
  8. Well I hereby formally call dibs on them if you EVER decide to sell them, haha.
  9. IIRC, I used 7/32 line from the turbo nipples to an inline reducer, then 5/32 line from the reducer to the GS EBCS. The size on the vac line shouldn't matter as long as you get everything connected without kinks or leaks. Ziptie all those connections too.
  10. It's kind of incognido, but it's the only sticker on my car
  11. If a few of you guys need the 2.2k ohm resistor for egt delete, PM me. I've got like 4 left from when I did mine, didn't want to throw them away, and don't need to keep them. Send me a self addressed stamped envelope and they're yours. PS- I've got a little over 1,000 miles on my new turbo and Cryo stage 3 tune and have been loving every mile of it. I might be doing injectors sooner than I had originally planned now, lol! More POWAAA!
  12. I've had a blast and have learned quite a bit throughout my Stage 3 e-tune with Cryotune Performance. Kinda bittersweet now that my tune is now complete, getting the map revisions were kind of like a little Christmas, and I was excited to datalog and view the new parameters :-) Thank you very much for all your expertise, time, and promptness Dave, I love this tune! PS (for potential customers): Dave reviews logs and sends his revised maps back almost too fast :-) With my new schedule at work I wasn't able to reflash new map and log it same day, so at times it was like I was the one slowing things down, hahaha!
  13. You and your stupidly awesome, huge dual filtered setup... ;-)
  14. Stop driving it dude. Underdog was out of stock IIRC. BarManBean, Cryo, or AZPinstalls might have a very limited # of them.
  15. So I got my AP back from Cobb yesterday, it was just the screen afterall. I'll get some logging done today/tomorrow so we can progress Thanks again for your patience Dave, I really appreciate it!
  16. I've said it 1000x, but I was very impressed with the quality and craftsmanship of your oil line kit. FWIW, I've been Machining almost 15 years, about 8 of them for Aerospace so I have very high standards for machined and/or turned parts and assemblies. The instructions were detailed and easy to comprehend, and if someone does not agree, they probably shouldn't tackle this job. The packing is fine. It is exactly what I would do as well as it is cheap and efficient. It feels more personal to me as well. "Fancy" vacuum formed packaging would only drive up cost. I know I had some questions during my install, but I got everything I needed from the forum. I do feel my situations were a little unique, but now the info is out there and visible. You were a major contributor to that. Thank you again. I ended up getting 10% off my order from you and I kinda of felt bad about using it because you are such a stand up guy and I know how buisness works. With all that said, your oil line kit could easily fetch $225 like dga said, but I'd say just under $250 because what you offer is far superior to the other option. If people don't want to buy at that price, they can go with the other guys and their fitment issues.
  17. Awww, man :-( hahaha Wondering why I have been seeing so many local ads in the FS forum :-)
  18. I was able to rotate the compressor housing ever so slightly. I don't think the housings are pinned. I ended up getting the TMIC outlet into the TB hose first, then rotated the TB hose around to find the position that gave me the most 'throw', tightened the c-clamps, then pushed/pulled the TMIC to line up the TMIC flange to the compressor side outlet. It wasn't too bad.
  19. I've been having fun with my Cryo e-tuning process so far. Data logging with ATR on the laptop is awesome. I got the green light to do the first power pulls, and I'm beyond excited. Thanks Dave!!! :-)
  20. Honestly, if I had a heads up or had seen it mentioned somewhere in the threads beforehand, it wouldn't have been as bad. The clocking of the two housings seemed to be the biggest probelm I had. I got the hard coolant lines to mount to the housing after I slit the mounting holes on the tabs. I'm a wrenchhead but this is my first turbo car, which means the first turbo car I've worked on as well. And I overthink everything. The turbo looks very nice and seems high quality IMO. I'do it again if I had to.
  21. More or less I wanted to get my findings posted here so that it may help others in the future. There were a couple things that even thru my exhaustive research I didn't come across in a thread and found out in the process. I've been to the auto parts store way too many times for small parts these past couple weeks :-) Going to pressurize the system tomorrow and check for boost leaks, weld in that bung and then wait for my base map from Cryo to arrive then it's play time! I'm so flippin excited you guys, it's been 2 months and 2 days since she's been down! I still can't get over how nice the filtered oil line kit is Mike :-)
  22. I can't get the compressor housing to rotate in/on the hot side for the life of me. I busted a knuckle and almost pooped my pants trying to. Thinking I need to take this turbo back out to clock it correctly. I hope somebody tells me I'm wrong. Any one have some insight on this? I've scoured the threads and only found the above. My situation does not look I need to "slightly rotate the housing". Mine is like 10ยบ and an inch off. Bolting up the IC and getting an O2 bung welded into my DP are the only things uoldng me up now. My LC-1 will be here Monday so I can start logging. Edit: Got it finally. I had to wrestle the hell out of the TMIC and reposition the TB hose but it's all back together. It's definitely not in the same spot as when I took it off though as I had to redrill to driver side bracket to get the IC to bolt up. Eh well, whatever.
  23. In your guys' experience, were they ever this far off? And I'm just supposed to/able to loosen the V-band and rotate the compressor housing until it lnes up? And the CHRA will stay aligned to the housings and all that? http://i476.photobucket.com/albums/rr126/mikabuc/20131019_112546_zps9ee8470f.jpg
  24. http://i476.photobucket.com/albums/rr126/mikabuc/20131013_181918_zps3cf1799f.jpg Progress! Hope to install EBCS and TMIC after work today.
