  1. A friend of mine is a partner in an auto shop in West Allis called Total Auto Repair. They've done both aftermarket and regular maintenance work on my LGT, from exhaust to timing belt / water pump. Good rates and good guys. My friend's name is Adam, and his partner is Tom.
  2. I liked my DWS tires, and would recommend them to others.
  3. Is the door card the same for wagon/sedan? I could use a new driver's door card.
  4. Good cop, just seeing what's up and being polite about it. I like those kinds. I'm from Racine, too. Live in Milwaukee now, but yeah.
  5. No cutouts for the reverse lights -- I liked the darker look for those. Which reminds me, I still have LED reverse bulbs sitting around that I need to put in.
  6. From this LGT forum vendor
  7. I haven't been given any flack for mine yet. I got the cut-outs, though, to retain as much light output as possible. http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8058/8233600679_ee19dba7ef_c.jpg
  8. It does, but it doesn't seem to matter. And the headlight shouldn't be higher -- the cut offs should be level. It was "fixed" by a Lexus tech once, who pointed them almost straight down. After a second time, they seemed better, but the right one still floated up again at some point.
  9. I like it. Don't really drive it a ton, but I have no complaints so far (aside from stability control, hah). It handled driving around yesterday in the snow and crap just fine. While not the fastest thing out there, it holds its own well enough, passing isn't a problem. Most annoying thing so far is her headlights never stay level -- the right one constantly gets higher than it should. Not really sure why.
  10. It still snowed pretty hard up until early afternoon here. Was on and off most of the night. GF and I went out for dinner and roads were pretty good on the way there, and shit on the way back again (this is on Hwy 100 in West Allis). Tried to do some donuts in her IS 250, but the stability control wasn't having it. Had to Google and find out how to turn it off for next time.
  11. Everyone out enjoying the snow? My tires are too bald for snow, so it's not exactly the most fun thing ever right now.
  12. Might want to be a little more specific about where in Wisconsin. I don't think you'll want Milwaukee-area recommendations when you live in Appleton.
  13. I used to live right by Whittier Elementary (right by Waukesha South), so very possible.
  14. My girlfriend's family has a restaurant in Mequon, but we don't really get up there that often. Milwaukee / Waukesha area for me mostly.
  15. Oddly enough, I'll probably be out on the motorcycle for a bit in early December. Calling for mid to high 50s for a couple days!
  16. It's cold and there's no snow yet, so things are dull.
  17. Someone ping this thread that Monday and remind me of that meet, I'll try to make it.
  18. Not really identical, but they made them. http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h224/classicjetta/05-07_Subaru_Outback_sedan.jpg
  19. Not sure about the dyno. I've been in contact with them, though, so I'll have to ask.
  20. Synergy Tuning in Port Washington is having an open house this Saturday, from 12 noon - 4pm.
