FULL OCD MAINTENANCE HISTORY. The original owner was fanatical about maintenance. Maintenance doesn't help a lick when your oil pump pickup snaps in half... Anyway, I've been shopping heavily and this is the specific car I am buying. There is no question. Waiting sucks. My ownership has an interesting pattern to it... first cars.. cheap.. next cars.. I had a decent job.. lost job.. went back to beaters.. new job.. nice cars again. As I said, interesting.
K2e2vin
In order, I had two 1988 Honda CRXs 1988 Honda Civic hatchback 1990 Honda Accord coupe 1992 Honda Accord coupe I still have the HB, though engine is out, and '92 coupe which is on it's way out. I miss the fuel economy on them but the Legacy is way more comfortable than those two and climbs mountains much better.
roundthirteen
I posted earlier but no pictures. I can't find any of the 1987 Dodge Aries SE (you're not missing anything). The 1997 Saturn SL2 had a built 11:1 N/A motor making 170 crank hp and weighed less than a Miata, it ran high 14's and handled decent. The 2004 Impala SS had a few bolt on's and a middle of the road cam and ran high 13's with tractionless 60's and got 28mpg. It handled like a marshmallow. My car's not a sleeper it's a hibernator. http://pure-tuning.com

stm25rs
Very 1st car 1993/4? Impreza L station wagon, FWD only. It was the family hand-me down, and my parents eventually donated it to charity. 2001 Impreza 2.5RS coupe. Parents bought it for me just before I turned 17, after 6-7 months of good driving with the wagon. I bought it from them a few years ago once I graduated from college. Picked up a '99 Miata in Fall of 2011, with 38.5k miles on it. She's at 46k now, and I plan to keep her for a long time. Bought the Legacy two weeks ago, and will be selling the RS as soon as I find time to clean it up and take pictures. It's living with my mom right now, as back up for her 250k+ mile CRV (she's buying a new car this year).

SARCruiser
750hp 02' Duramax 360hp 02' WRX 425hp 88' FJ62 Land Cruiser Which flavor of engine swap did you do? I put a '00 Vortec in my '87. Made it a lot more driveable every day. I do miss the bottom end torque of the stock 2F tractor engine sometimes, though.
