I really want to shoot the P365. Saw one in person the other day and think that could be a new EDC. Size of my LC9s and holds 10+1.

First Trigger swap I did was a drop in on my Ruger 10-22. Easy peasy. Even went so far as to swap the release in that too, wasn't bad at all. So when I bought my Mark IV Hunter, I said yeah no problem I can do the trigger on this too. Man. That was an ordeal. Glad I did it, glad I know how now, but man am I thankful for youtube.

Everyone in MA got a letter the other day saying that bump stocks and trigger cranks are now illegal and that if we don't turn them in by March 1st we'll be subject to criminal prosecution. Quite the precedent to set.

Passed the house, now it's in Senate limbo.

I have not. This was my first foray into any of that type of event. I haven't looked to see if USPSA does many matches in my area yet either but i'm a fan of trying different clubs. Having seen how different autocross clubs handle the same event i'm pretty curious to see how different gun clubs handle this type of event.

Did my first IPDA match on Friday. Had a ton of fun, will definitely be doing more of those. VP9 did very well for me, that was the most fun i've had shooting in a long time.

Compilation of cheap and/or free Legacy Mods

Or just don't do the Hogzaust "mod" -
That sounds like a lot of fun, I would be all about that if I could find a place locally. I shoot the CCI target and the CCI ar-tactical (I think this is the copper plated stuff you were talking about). I notice a much bigger difference between those two in my 10-22 rifle, I'm a touch more accurate with the target (1070fps) rather than the tactical (1200fps) but with a pistol I haven't noticed a major difference. Volquartsen accurizing kit was well worth the $120 I spent on it. 2.5lb trigger pull, and it's a big difference from the stock trigger. Also has pretravel and overtravel adjustments if you're into that kind of thing. Vortex is good for the 200 or so rounds I've put through the gun with it on. lower brightness setting gives a really good dot with not much prism-like look. I put it on with the outerimpact mount, took a bit of sighting in though. Was about 18" low at 25ft initially, but now that I have it sighted in it's dead nuts.

What kind of competitions? I think my favorite thing about the mkIV compared to mkIII is the single button takedown for cleaning.

Started up a pistol league this week, which meant I had to go buy a 22 pistol. MkIV Hunter and I already put a Volquartsen trigger and a vortex venom red dot on it. After some sighting in this thing is damn fun to shoot. Can't say enough about the trigger kit and the red dot improving the gun, the stock rear sight was stuck on the windage adjustment and when I got it unstuck, it then wouldn't stick.

Bought a Miata
bucko3the7man replied to Chris GTO TT's topic in Other cars & Other cars vs. the Legacy
Drove Jerry's miata at autocross this weekend, man I missed miatas. So much fun because of all the WOT. -
Mine won't be around for much longer I don't think. Need to find some shit tires to put on my stockers and then wash/wax/take pictures and put up for sale. She's been good to me, and i'll miss her like hell.

This is my experience with my VP9 as well. I love shooting it.

Underdog's '06 GRP Sedan 5MT
bucko3the7man replied to Underdog's topic in Fourth Generation Legacy (2005 - 2009)
AFAIK the passenger sensor you can't unplug because it does weird things. Driver side you can unplug all day long. Could that have been it? -
Been really enjoying local R&G club's rifle league. .22, 50ft indoor, 10 shots prone, sitting and standing. The way this one works is you go off a rolling average, and four teams all compete against each other with a handicap. So if the rolling average of one team is 14pts higher than the other team that week, the lower team gets a 14pt head start. Really just makes it so that you're shooting against your own average each week. Shot a 248 the other week and it felt awesome. 95 prone, 87 sitting and 66 standing. Rocking a Ruger 10/22, Ruger BX lighter weight trigger, BSA Sweet 22 scope and CCI standard velocity target ammo.

Man, I thought MA was bad.

Valve cover gasket replacement!
bucko3the7man replied to Tehnation's topic in Fourth Generation Legacy (2005 - 2009)
Disagree with you there, passenger side was easier than driver without jacking. Just jack both sides so that you don't mess it up. When I did mine originally I had the lip of the gasket on the driver's side come out of the track then I ended up cutting it when I tightened the bolts down. Second time I jacked the driver's side up and all was good. -

I think it's overkill, but feel free to do it if you want. I just followed the Flying Spaghetti Monster and mine have been fine. -
Saw a couple LGTs at the UMass car show yesterday, didn't talk to any of you since I was catching up with old alumni friends.

LC9S is also a good option in that same size bracket as the Kahr.

Plug n Play Aux-in mod for 2005 6cd radios

You probably installed the ribbon backwards. Double check that, I made that mistake the first time I did it as well. -

This remains the best mod I ever did to this car. That said if you can't get them anymore that's a different story and it sucks for you.
