BAC5.2
Sorry I haven't been updating. Things have been crazy with finals coming up and proposals to write for my thesis and don't forget about work. I'm still hopeful on an end-of-may prototype, but time will tell. Natas
be interested in the OTF type key but with out the AIO part, have after market alarm/starter installed making AIO useless, also pends in price.
BAC5.2
I might consider doing a no-button version after everything else is done. I'm also considering an aftermarket alarm, in which case I'd probably hack up the remote that comes with the alarm and build an AIO around it. I just finished setting up my new lab, so I should be able to do some work on knocking this project out! LegacyGTBiggie
Do one for a caddie? The GM idea of a luxury key is well.... retarded. Same key and fob as a base chevy or pontiac. Like no wonder they needed a bail out. http://i.ebayimg.com/17/!B7bj-Gw!2k~$(KGrHqMOKm4Ey2FnIbC4BM0IoDrOeg~~_3.JPG http://thumbs4.ebaystatic.com/m/melK1Il4Vi4mOXcjoLLB3nw/140.jpg Horrid right? BAC5.2
Glad to hear it. The results of the poll are great! I've got a TON on my plate as the semester draws to an end and my research begins piling up. I'm still hoping to finish the prototype for the end of May, but we'll see what happens. Biggie - Let me finish the Subaru keys, and then I'll see about tackling the GM key. That key looks turrible, so hopefully I can work something out. You might have to buy me a blank key and spare remote though. executor485
Not trying to draw attention away from your product, rather highlighting something that I JUST found. Looks pretty cool http://www.autoblog.com/2011/05/08/keyport-multitool-looks-to-replace-your-keychain/ If I pass you on the right, I'm flipping you off. BAC5.2
I LOVE it. But it's not as cool as an auto-open/close and it doesn't have the remote built in. I could make a manual slide version of the AIO in a matter of seconds. The groundwork for that is already laid. But it won't have a bottle opener... or maybe... I've got to much on my plate as it is. Maybe Rev.B will have a bottle opener integrated into it. That would be slick. executor485
It's definitely not going to be on the same level as your solution, but it is interesting. I'm still down for your version given the right price Something else (maybe for version 2) is to have an LED light built in. I typically dont like having an LED light on my keychain, but for a built in on the key, it may be kinda nice. If I pass you on the right, I'm flipping you off.
