If you don't have a tuner near you, and don't want to flash it yourself through an Infamous tune, you can go the accessport route. Also, they are much more durable to withstand higher psi. The stock one is good for 18psi (stage 2) after that the plastic end tanks can leak/break off. Everyone and their mother who drives their mother's civic thinks an intake and exhaust will net them 300whp. Even better is when the "intake" is a drop in filter or an aftermaf hose, and the "exhaust" is a leak. Follow the road map to stage 2 and call it a day. bmx045 Posted May 18, 2011 Share Posted May 18, 2011 it's probably your head playing tricks on you because you can now hear the engine revs. as long as it doesn't jump 1000rpms right before it changes gears you should be fine. the 5EAT's 3rd gear is unusual, for some reason the shifting time is different than the other gears. going from 2-3 is usually firmer, and going from 4-3 can be as well...
