    Your PS fluid should not freeze at 8 degrees. If it does, you need to replace the fluid.

    Clay bar before the wash/alcohol would be the ultimate clean surface to lay the vinyl. If you've never used the clay bar it is amazing how much dirt and debris is still lying on a "clean" car.
