jeremy_w
a plug is supposed to run at a temp between 740 degrees and about 1700 too "hot" pre detonate, and you'll burn holes through your piston, too cold and you wont burn all the carbon, and foul them. The reason for different plugs is for that reason, and a 'cooler' plug has a shorter electrode so it cools faster, a hotter plug has a longer electrode so it retains heat. IMO i'd upgrade the plugs to platinums and forget which are hot, and cold, and use oem ref numbers. but, that's just coming from a guy who builds 2200hp snowmobiles. bmwpride
i just think that a hotter plug would suit me better. SInce my car runs a little bit richer. That is why im looking at a hotter plug.
jeremy_w
okay then, i hear people talking when i go to the drag strip with my asphalt drag sled sayng ' i just put hotter plugs in so that should give me a few more hp type people' when their set up was running well to begin with. Giro Disc
Looks like it. I have whiteline ones of those. Every piece of my suspension has been swaped out with ether STi or aftermarket crap and that looks like it would go there.

fastshift
Will the door cards from a newer model fit in our cars? I have a 98 Legacy GT will the ones from an 02 GT fit? I found some and they look like they will work but I don't want to purchase them and find out that I wasted my money.
subikid90
I can't answer your question but the test thing to do to make your door cards new is go to a fabric store and buy 1.5 yards of fabric and redo them. Cost less than $20 for all of the material, fabric glue and foam if you want. -Subikid90 1997 Legacy GT 5spd & EJ251 w/EJ25D heads ~10.5CR 1998 Legacy GT Limited waiting for EJ22T hybrid swap

98quiksilvergt
Just a heads up. I got a front strut bar on eBay from motorblvdparts, they sent me 2 passenger side mount plates. They pretty much said too bad. Had to file a claim. Check feedback before you buy.
kaz98gt
The jdm projectors also include the turn signals. I'm not sure which models for the usdm market came with the 2 piece and which ones came with 1 piece non-projectors, but my 98 has 2 separate pieces and they bother the hell out of me. They're never aligned right! But if you get the projectors, there's no need to worry about signal housings.
slowlego
Just a heads up. I got a front strut bar on eBay from motorblvdparts, they sent me 2 passenger side mount plates. 98quiksilvergt
It's not the model that was the problem. It was the mount plates were excactly the same when they should be a mirroir image. Or complete opposite. The holes aren't even close on the driver side.

kaz98gt
zues, I noticed you put in a coilpack upgrade on the list. Do you think that's plug and play for a 2.2? It might be an interesting thing to pick up for mine...

kaz98gt
cool, any reviews on it? I'd imagine it does something over my old, probably original coilpack.
