Official SoCal Spotted Thread - V1 (CLOSED)

Saw RootBeers car in the lot for a bit yesterday. Max OBXT is still here (waiting for a coolant hose). Saw my wifes 5EAT in the garage this morning next to my SpecB. Not sure if any of these count.

I have not seen an LGT in the wild for a few weeks (iirc). Last one, I was test driving a 2016 STi and the "gent" in the LGT was looking for a street race. Ummmm... sorry buddy, I am more apt to call the police and report a street race than I am to participate in one. Funny, but when it happened my first thought was of Ron Burgundy, "Do you know who I am? I'm kinda a big deal". LOL!

Nice seeing you again Mike! Let me know how the Dell works out so I can come back down there to spin the rollers.

I can actually enjoy driving the car again so I see many miles coming soon.

2 for 1 today:

The OBXT I saw on 10/19/2015, and just found the pic in my backups.

Looks like it's lowered on LGT springs, ya?

This Legacy GT manual is parked at my work underground lot. I only recently noticed it. Front seat is pulled way forward.

Nice meeting you on Sunday! :)

We had to rush to the ski school - kid was signed up for the day and we had ~10 minutes to get him in.

It was a great day. Enjoyed the slopes and the mountain roads drive.

The stock suspension is terrible (still haven't decided which way to go) but still have fun on twisty roads :D

Actually was directed to park next to this other OBXT at Snow Summit in Big Bear.

We chatted for a bit, but both were in a hurry to get out on the hill. His has STi brembos.

When I got back to my car later, I found a note that said his "my username on legacygt.com is MX5". I don't see any usernames that match that. He said it's been awhile since he was on the forums.

Hey! It was nice to meet you too! We were in the same boat with kids being late for lessons. I dropped them off at the front, and then parked to save a few minutes.

I guess your username isn't search able. Glad you found this post! Loved those STi brakes and the wheels. Theres' a few good threads on here that discuss outback suspension. Koni's on LGT springs with spacers can get you the ride quality and the ride height. Swap out King Springs in the rear maybe, instead of spacers but double check that those work with the Koni's.

We drove back to the South Bay over the back way around the lake, to the 210. That was beautiful!

Actually spotted a couple of real, live, if stock, LGT's the past week.

A black LGT spotted at the Russel Road exit in Vegas this past Thursday. Waved a couple of times, but don't think he was looking.

A white LGT spotted at Home Depot on Genesee in San Diego last night. Exchanged waves.

Got recall letter too. It was saying they don't have parts so there would be another followup letter in the future. Few days later got another letter about them fixing melted/sticky dashboards for free.

what.... i thought the sticky dashboard was because i used some sort of cleaner and forgot to dry it off... h

Nope, it's a known issue. Not a recall, but they are mailing out notices to fix the issue.
