MiniStiGuy
So we bought this truck for my brothers friend whom we took in after his house burned down. It only cost $500 so it doesn't look the best and needs a tune-up and tires. Considering this is a 14 year old paint job and its chipped and chipping in many places and stuff, all I really wanted to get out of this was for it to look just a little better using the least amount of product and time. Here's what I used. XMT 360 Blue Edge Pad by PC Klasse Sealant Glaze (this is a pain in the ass to buff off so I usually don't bother I go straight to the next thing) NXT spray wax applied by PC and microfiber bonnet (the bonnet helps with the glaze) Hand buff off the car after NXT tacks up. anyways on to the pictures. OCDetails
Awesome work! That XMT 360 is the bomb, ain't it? It shocks me what that product will clean up sometimes. Great job! _________________________________________ “Cleanliness becomes more important as godliness becomes more unlikely.” O C D E T A I L S . MiniStiGuy
How much would you charge to do my Forester? I'm not pro or anything there is a lot of flaws in the paint still. I just was trying to mostly get rid of oxidation and bringing the paint back to life. I still have a lot to learn especially on product choosing and on working the polishes to get my resluts I'm looking for. 1075
Wow! Huge difference. And a great deal on the truck. Better get to work on that bumper, it's a disgrace.
MiniStiGuy
its going to my brothers friend who's house burnt down in the fires here in southern california so we took him in and he has been living with us for a year now. He graduates highschool next week and we bought him the truck for his first car and hopefully it will give him the opportunity to setup his life. If all else fails it is transportation for him to find a job and go to the job or school. Its currently getting a tune-up and all fluids flushed and new tires put on so the $500 is in the end going to be about a $1500 dollar truck.
