LegacyGT4
I was wondering how much better the Spec B is in comparison to the GT or even the STi besides the low production numbers? They are very cheap now but I am not a fan of hype cars that have blown up images but just fail to deliver.

JoeFromPA
Ask yourself these questions: #1 - Don't get a 2006. Next question. #2 - Do you want a built-in navigation system? #3 - Do you plan on modifying the suspension? #3a - If yes to #3, sway bars and/or maybe lowering springs only? #3b - Probably going to replace the whole suspension? #4 - Do you need a beefed up 6-speed transmission for some reason...i.e. lots of high-end power in your future? Like the 6-speed goodness? #5 - Will more alcantara help make your life complete? If you answered yes to #2, #4, #5 and no to #3b, go ahead and buy yourself a Spec.B. If any of your answers are not in agreement with the above statement, move along Sonnie. The Spec.B. is not for you. Joe
EddieSpecB
I'll summarize Joe's approach, with a bit more bias and more efficiency. Get a spec.B. I mean, c'mon, it even has a different turbo with a nice engraving! :-D
Gire
ZOMG Spec B is the best car ever! I have been working solidly for the last 4 years turning my GT into a Spec B. Now, I could have gone aftermarket parts that would have actually exceeded the performance of a Spec B, but then it wouldn't have really been my dream car. Yes, I said the Spec B is my Dream Car. It's even faster and more technically savvy than a GT-R!
EddieSpecB
Yes, I said the Spec B is my Dream Car. With expectations at this level, you must be living a blissful life. I'll push the bar down a few more notches for you... My dream car is a Brat with a lift kit.
