Funny you guys brought this up today. I'm in the process of replacing my Z110bt with this Appradio2 + Galaxy Note II. I agree--It will be nice to have real google navigation and google now voice control.

Do either of these cables allow other OBD functions on other makes and models? For example, If I buy a tactrix cable can I ditch my innova OBDII code reader and use a laptop/software to read and clear codes for, say, a Lexus?

So are there any disadvantages to going with the vag-com cable vs. a tactrix if you have an 05? I'm confused on why some 05 people still use the $160 cable when this one looks like it works fine. Also, what do you sell them for m sprank? I didn't see them on your website.

I've tried it out...it's not that bad. Besides, those of us that have steering wheel controls are frustrated with not being able to use them with the ipod

I recognized this this morning on subaru.com/ipod - Pretty neat! I'm curious and hesitant at the same time for this - i love navigating my ipod touch (big screen and i have a pro clip for it) and i don't really want that functionality to be taken away if i plug it into my radio. (there is no way the radio's navigation will be as nice as the touch) you don't happen to know if this is the case do you? (disabled music navigation from the ipod touch when connected to the subaru radio?) If this is the case i'll probably buy a satelite tuner and go through the heck you guys are to rig up the aux-in. I loved XM back in the day when it was cheaper...haven't used it in years. As for taking the center console apart, i've gotten good at it and it takes me 20 min tops. If someone around me wants to give me half an hour with their car i'll get the part number from that harness and we'll be set.
