SBT
Looks good. I might consider this after I see gauges mounted. Not to threadjack too much but Subietonic and Slightly Evil both seem to have the STi Gauge pack. Any photos of this installed in your car? Most I have seen have just been the gauge pack. This is what the STI Gauge Pack looks like installed. Perfect OEM fit, and STI performance which is what you'd expect - Pro amore Dei et patriam et populum -
SBT
teaser picture! http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b53/Detslider/teaser.jpg I'm not done with the install so the gauges aren't pushed all the way in. I hope to finish tomorrow and will post a complete review/write-up shortly thereafter. M - looks great - can't wait to see the final install pics. - Pro amore Dei et patriam et populum -

RaGe
well i guess i can contribute to the teaser style pictures. i dont currently have my gauges hooked up, and they are not all the way pushed in. i will add this too. I had mine re-hit with paint. Gave it my little touch. so it will be different than that of up above. i took it to a relative that paints, and he in return took it to a paint shop, had the paint matched with the OEM pillar. believe it or not, they actually stock subaru interior colors. but here are my pictures. http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i171/Crucifix79/cubby%20pod/pillarpod001.jpg http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i171/Crucifix79/cubby%20pod/pillarpod003.jpg http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i171/Crucifix79/cubby%20pod/pillarpod004.jpg http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i171/Crucifix79/cubby%20pod/pillarpod005.jpg http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i171/Crucifix79/cubby%20pod/pillarpod007.jpg http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i171/Crucifix79/cubby%20pod/pillarpod008.jpg OTM. Detslider
looks good! I had thought about drilling a few extra holes in mine to put in the remote button for adjusting the peak settings but decided against it. Is the top red thing an LED or remote button? I expect it's a button but at the same time it looks illuminated....

Boilersubie
I don't have any pics but I just got mine today and will echo Detslider's sentiments. Fit and finish look great but the gauges don't fit. I will have to sand down the ID of the pods to get them to fit.
Detslider
Fit and finish look great but the gauges don't fit. I know what you mean but that statement is a little conflicting... It's an easy fix with a dremel type tool and some sanding bands http://www.mytoolstore.com/dremel/439-413.gif I only removed about .25-.5mm so take it easy, don't use your man arm, it's good to keep it a tight fit. LegacyMUN2k6
They need to be tested with gauges before being shipped out.
RaGe
let me clear this up. the gauges fit. but after they are painted it will require you to actually ( and not a bunch, just enough to take the paint off a bit ) sand the circle out a bit. thats all. takes all but maybe 5 minutes to do it. OTM. Sorry I didn't mean to start a war which mainly forum people is all about .
rpbyrd2
Can someone take a drivers perspective picture. I want to see how the gauges sit in relation to the driver.
RaGe
you cant get much better pictures than this. it shows the amount of space from teh steering wheel. an outside view etc.... well i guess i can contribute to the teaser style pictures. i dont currently have my gauges hooked up, and they are not all the way pushed in. i will add this too. LegacyMUN2k6
How do I order one?
VaultBoy
If you are interested in ordering one you can PM either me or NYRM98 with what you want. Probably easier to just PM NYRM98 though because he is the one that makes them and I forward PM's sent to me over to him anyway It should also be noted that he will send you pics of the completed pod before he ships it off to make sure it meets your expectations. Pricing can be found on the first page of the thread, but here they are again: DOUBLE POD = $140.00 SHIPPED TRIPLE POD = $150 SHIPPED
Boilersubie
I guess it is misleading to the extent that I am very pleased with the piece, but it is not misleading to say that the gauges don't fit because, well, they don't! As you explained, it is easily fixed. I think him knowing that there are clearence issues will allow him to remedy the situation! I know what you mean but that statement is a little conflicting... Detslider
what brand of gauges are you using?
yamie700
I think these are much better off having the hole a little small to begin with. Each gauge is probably going to be a little different, they say 52mm but I bet some vary +/- 1mm. If the holes were a little bigger, but then some gauge was on the small side it would be all loose and wobbly, that would be no good. I say leave the holes exactly as you have been doing them, people can then sand slightly to fit their specific gauge.

I like things to match maybe id throw two or three on each side
