Guest LGT-NY
Yeah, but I assume it will be the same or similar for almost any AFR gauge. I just want one that's of good quality.

2006Specb122
OK I am definately considering a gauge pod. This was the first thread I found ....... I am thinking these are probably the best around. WHen it comes to aftermarket guages I an a NOOB. Forgive all my questions. 1. How are these made? I dont' want to try to make it myself. I want to buy it from NYRM98.... but I am just curious how you go about doing something like this? It look/sounds like you are using a Subaru pillar as a base. SO fitment and finsieh will be OEM ... somehow you just add the gauge pods. How? 2. Of course every TURBO owner wants a boost gauge. But what other gauges do I consider. I have thougth about oil pressure so I can tell if my pick up tube fails and maybe I can save the engine. So what are the most popular guage packs for 2 or 3 pods? 3. I keep hearing about hte AFR or WIDEBAND gauges. Can you give me a QUICK explanation? Why do I want to know the Air Fuel measurements? Is this only good if I plan on doing major engine mods or tuning on my own? How hard are these to hook up? Thanks for all the help!
nyrm98
1. How are these made? Made from a factory A-pillar pod and a single, dual, or triple pod that is molded into the factory pod for the factory look. When they are done, they do not look cheap and they are not flimsy. The process to make them involves plastic apoxey, plastic glue and some filler, lots of sanding, and love.

Guest LGT-NY
You want to know the A/F ratio so you can ensure your car is not running too lean or too rich. Do a little search. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Air-fuel_ratio
