gf2020
...so alas we have to take my car (2002 legacy gtL). I think it's funnier that you thought your 6 year old car was that special than your girlfriend not wanting to drive it after a while. For what it's worth my wife (of 15 years) has driven every car we have ever owned (stick or automatic, sports car or truck, etc.).
johndas
...is this really where we are going?...might have to limit it to GF/wife and legacy...both must be in the pic...and bonus points for her in the drivers seat! Little bit better degree of difficulty...more of a call to action boys! naaaa we talkin' J Photochop allowed but frowned upon!

Scrad
I remember reading this thread awhile ago and it reminded me why I don't want the wife driving my LGT. I should have knocked on wood, because last weekend I had to use the SUV for a karting race and to pick up a TV from my dad. So the wife has to use my car for the weekend. This is the second time she has had to use the car while I was gone racing. First time no problems that I was aware of. But this time I specifically told the wife not to park next to curbs and be careful to not curb the rims. Yeah yeah I know how to drive she says. Well I get a phone call and she says "Umm your not going to be happy with me", and I say "What did you do to my car?!!!!" She says "Well I scratched the rim." I say "How bad and she tells me, well you could polish it out, plus you said you don't like those rims anyways". NOTE, I don't love my rims, but other people really like them so I take care of them, but not the point. I then proceed to tell the wife you can't polish a scratch out of the rim and then she argues with me that I can. I asked her how it happend and she said she was in the drive thru at Dairy Queen. Ahh no wonder:spin:. I get home expecting maybe a 2 inch curb rash scratch. Hell no it is curbed on half of the rim. Totally ruined. Note to others don't let wife's take your baby out for a spin, especialy if she already doesn't like the car, since you bought it and didn't tell her right away. DirtE30
I have my wife driving my 06 spec B 60 miles round trip to work daily. I gave her the stern break down on what not to do, where to park, ect... She knows that the car gets the daily walk around so she takes really good care of the car. So I am safe to say that I am worry free about her driving the car. Now on the other hand I have an 98audi A4 that I wont let her touch. Well actually she knows that that car is my baby so she is afraid to drive it. http://www.lostbeachbum.com/gallery/albums/Car%20stuff/new%20audi.jpg
