Sponge Posted September 4, 2007 Share Posted September 4, 2007 The PDX car looks good. Stopped by the dealership last week...its just kind of bland. Not as aggressive or go fast sitting still as the MazdaSpeed3 that's for sure. The interior is definatly nicer but not as nice as ours and for the price you can buy a our car... The intresting thing was they had a few hatch WRX and one Sedan and a few Impreza's too but haven't sold one yet...had them for over a week. The B4 Posted September 4, 2007 Share Posted September 4, 2007 The inside of the doors are ugly (way too tall and flat), the dash is ugly (too high with waaaay too much cheap silver plastic crap slathered all over it), the stereo is too high (if I can't fiddle with it with my hand on the shifter then it's too high - steering wheel controls don't help when you go and upgrade it), the housing for the clock is unbalanced and looks like it was lifted out of a Kia, I never did like the 3 spoke steering wheel even tho that's what's in my car you are such a negative nancy... thee doors are fine... and they are scalloped which gives me way more room. The stereo is high thank goodness. I have navi there and it's nice to look at it and keep the road in my field of vision instead of looking down and taking my eyes completely off the road. The radio buttons are nice although i'm still getting used to the change in the cruise control. The clock is just like on the old model except in a more stylized housing. I love the Legacy up in Pa - lots of fun. But, I find myself wishing for Mp3 player connectivity, satellite radio, and navigation. I find myself wanting these features more and more. . Speaking of said iPod controller. Do you have it yet? There are a few of us trying to determine if this will work in our Leggy's. Can you tell who made your stereo? sirsimon Posted September 8, 2007 Share Posted September 8, 2007 A friend picked up a new WRX last weekend. I drove it earlier in the week, and came away impressed. The word that comes to mind is "smooth". Everything about driving the car is so smooth, light, and easy. It really has a nice ride, and the engine is tuned nicely for a broad, smooth torque curve. Styling is subjective. He got the sedan, which I think looks like a Toyota Corolla S (not a good thing, IMHO), but he likes it, so... All in all, I liked the car more than I expected. Havent driven one, but saw one last weekend. It looked worse than I imagined Not true... Motortrend, Winding Road, and Sport Compact car all gave it glowing reviews...
