**Official** Mid-Atlantic FS and WTB/WTT Thread!
msb175 replied to LegacyGTBiggie's topic in Mid-Atlantic
Am i supposed to use this to post a FS? Seems like it's gonna get lost in the clutter. Anyway, I have a Cobb AP v1. NOT unmarried. Was about to throw it out, but figured i'd give it a shot on here first. $50 anyone? -
Front Wheel Bearing -- DIY Walkthrough
msb175 replied to derffred's topic in Walkthroughs :: Basic Operation & Maintenance
argh. i've had a humming noise coming from the front right of my car for a few months now. Thought it was the tires, but after a rotation, still. i guess it's the wheel bearing. Another thing to add to the list. -

ditto. my switch gets "stuck" in the window up position and i don't notice it until i press it down to put the window down. it doesn't go at first, but after a few tries, it rolls down, no problem. just sucks that i don't realize that it sticks in the window up position.

Spark Plug Install Instructions
msb175 replied to BoxerGT2.5's topic in Walkthroughs :: Basic Operation & Maintenance
Just did mine today @ 54K. I must say it was fairly easy. the plugs towards the rear were easier to take out once the wiring plug was unplugged. I just used what was stock, the SILFRA plugs. maybe its just me, but the car feels more responsive. -

Cooling Fan Relay Issue now a recall campaign
msb175 replied to Opie's topic in Warranty Issues & Problems
quickest visit to dealer service ever. went in at 7:20. Came out at 7:50. Seemed like it took longer for the service advisor to "close out" the paper work than it did to replace the part. I did not unmarry my AP either. -

Cooling Fan Relay Issue now a recall campaign
msb175 replied to Opie's topic in Warranty Issues & Problems
well, if thats the case, i guess i'll just unmarry it just to be safe. i'm going in first thing in the morning, so i'll drive to the dealer early, unmarry there and let them work on it. i'm guessing the cel's won't appear right away...right? what if i don't bring my keys? can they still change out the ECU and reprogram the keys later or do they have to do it all at once? -
Cooling Fan Relay Issue now a recall campaign
msb175 replied to Opie's topic in Warranty Issues & Problems
I got my appointment on monday and thats what i'm planning on. i just flashed stg II last saturday. my fans not running constantly, so it should just be a relay swap. but IF they tell me they need to change the ECU, i'll just tell them i'll bring it back after unmarrying it. -
Loss off power to radio and climate control.

odd...that actually happened to my WRX when I had it. Happened once after about a half year of ownership. Hopefully it doesn't happen to the LGT. *knock on wood*
